Publication number: 20220220166Abstract: In order to improve aggregation property of a PPR protein, the A6 amino acid of the 1st PPR motif from the N-terminus (M1) is made more hydrophilic. Further, the A9 amino acid of M1 is made to be a hydrophilic amino acid or glycine. The A6 amino acid is preferably asparagine or aspartic acid, and the A9 amino acid is preferably glutamine, glutamic acid, lysine, or glycine. Proteins containing such a PPR motif as M1 motif may have not only improved aggregation property, but also high binding power to a target nucleic acid.Type: ApplicationFiled: May 29, 2020Publication date: July 14, 2022Applicants: EditForce, Inc., KYUSHU UNIVERSITY, NATIONAL UNIVERSITY CORPORATIONInventors: Yusuke Yagi, Takayoshi Imai, Takayuki Tamai, Takahiro Nakamura, Takamasa Teramoto

Patent number: 7614183Abstract: A complex system where a plant group having a heat island phenomenon suppression effect and a solar cell having a carbon dioxide generation suppression effect are installed together. The purposes are to eliminate an adverse influence of both shadows of the plant group and the solar cell and to prevent the solar cell system from flying away by the wind pressure against the base side. The average height of the solar cell module is greater than that of the plant group. The plant group and the solar cell module are installed with a gap larger than the distance corresponding to the height difference between them. At least between the paired plant group and solar cell which face each other, an area for a person to walk through is provided. More than half of the ventilation area of the base side is covered with the plant group, a heat insulating material, and a moisture-retaining material.Type: GrantFiled: April 21, 2004Date of Patent: November 10, 2009Assignee: Kaneka CorporationInventors: Takuji Nomura, Yoshiteru Nitta, Tsuneo Tajima, Takayoshi Imai, Tooru Kojima, Akihiro Sakamoto, Takuji Hashimoto

Patent number: 4775306Abstract: This disclosure relates to a concrete floor finishing machine for smoothing a concrete floor surface while the placed concrete is in a semi-hardened state, and enables a floor finishing machine to be laid directly on the smoothed concrete floor. This concrete floor finishing machine includes finishing units which are arranged on the outer sides of a pair of left and right travelling means provided on a wheel unit. These finishing units consist of a plurality of trowels, respectively, which are arranged radially around the travelling means, respectively, these trowels being adapted to be turned around the travelling means.Type: GrantFiled: February 20, 1987Date of Patent: October 4, 1988Assignees: Kabushiki Kaisha Takenaka Koumuten, Sanwa Kizai Kabushiki KaishaInventors: Kimio Kikuchi, Takayoshi Imai, Shigeru Yamada

Patent number: 4505397Abstract: An apparatus for hoisting materials and placing concrete, having a non-rotating mast and a boom which is swingable horizontally and vertically, and consists of boom segments pin-jointed together in line so as to be foldable only downwardly. A line of concrete transport piping extends from the base end of the boom to the free end thereof, and a line of hoisting sling extends from the base end of the boom to the free end, hangs down to hold a load handling block, rises up and extends back to the base end, each such line being supported alongside of the boom. In service for hoisting materials, the boom is stretched and fixed at each pin-jointed connection for reinforcement by releasable pin-fastening members, whereas in service for concrete placing, the hoisting sling is raised up and seized in place to avoid interference. The apparatus is remotely controllable.Type: GrantFiled: March 30, 1983Date of Patent: March 19, 1985Assignee: Takenaka Komuten Co., Ltd.Inventors: Sakichi Isogai, Teruo Mizuhata, Masaaki Takahashi, Takayoshi Imai, Kazuyoshi Nakanishi, Takefumi Ito, Atsuo Koshihara

Patent number: 4091135Abstract: A novel self-adhesive type multi-layer laminated bituminous roofing membrane suitable for the formation of the roofing or waterproofing layer on roofs, floors and the like is provided. It comprises a base sheet of a sheet-like material, one or more bitumen layers coated on all or part of one or both faces of the base sheet, at least one layer of compound bitumen including both bitumen and rubber and/or resin laminated on all or part of the surface of said bitumen-coated layer on the base sheet and at least one release sheet laid over the whole surface of said compound bitumen layer. This roofing membrane is produced by uniting the bitumen-coated base sheet and the compound bitumen-coated release sheet, and can be applied over a substrate in a simple manner, without the step of melting or liquefying bitumen as in the conventional application process.Type: GrantFiled: May 12, 1977Date of Patent: May 23, 1978Assignee: Tajima Roofing Co., Ltd.Inventors: Eiichi Tajima, Kaname Yamamoto, Takayoshi Imai
