Abstract: A silver halide color photographic material comprising a support having thereon at least a silver halide emulsion layer is described, wherein the photographic material contains a cyan dye-forming coupler represented by formula (I) ##STR1## wherein R represents an unsubstituted or substituted alkyl, aryl, or heterocylic ring group; B represents --O-- or --NR.sub.1 --, wherein R.sub.1 represents a hydrogen atom or an unsubstituted or substituted alkyl or aryl group; Z represents an unsubstituted or substituted aryl group or an alkyl or aralkyl group substituted by a carboxy group or a hydroxy group; A represents a substituted aryl group, or a substituted or unsubstituted heterocyclic ring group; and m represents 0 or 1, provided that when m is 0 the substituent is not an alkoxy group, a halogen atom or a cyano group.

Abstract: A photographic silver halide light-sensitive material is disclosed comprising a support and at least one silver halide emulsion layer on the support, wherein the emulsion layer or another hydrophilic organic colloid layer contains a compound represented by formula (I) ##STR1## wherein R.sub.1 and R.sub.2 represent the same or different groups and are each hydrogen, an alkyl group, or an aryl group, or R.sub.1 and R.sub.2 can be linked together to form an N-containing heterocyclic ring, provided that R.sub.1 and R.sub.2 are not both hydrogens; R.sub.f is a fluorine-containing group; one of X and Y is a hydrogen atom and another is a --SO.sub.3 M group wherein M is a cation.A method for high speed coating a photographic emulsion or another hydrophilic organic colloid composition is also disclosed wherein the improvement comprises a compound represented by formula (I) to the emulsion or the composition.

Abstract: A color photographic light-sensitive material comprising a support having thereon a silver halide emulsion layer containing therein a coupler represented by the following general formula (I):Q-B (I)wherein Q represents a coupler residue capable of forming a magenta color image upon the coupling reaction with an oxidation product of a developing agent; and B represents a group containing an unsubstituted or substituted methylenedioxybenzene group.The magenta coupler containing a methylenedioxybenzene group is useful in preventing the formation of yellow stain due to light irradiation in unexposed areas of a color photographic light-sensitive material after color development processing. Color images formed from the coupler are resistant to fading even if the color images obtained after color development processing are irradiated with light.

Abstract: A silver halide color photographic sensitive material is disclosed. The material is comprised of at least one 4-(2-alkoxyarylthio)-5-pyrazolone magenta dye forming coupler and at least one compound represented by general formula (I): ##STR1## wherein each R represents an alkyl group, an alkenyl group, an aryl group, a 5- or 6-membered heterocyclic group having an oxygen atom or a nitrogen atom as a hetero atom, R.sub.4 CO--, R.sub.4 SO.sub.2 -- or R.sub.4 NHCO--, R.sub.1 and R.sub.2 each represents a hydrogen atom, a halogen atom, an alkyl group, an alkenyl group, an alkoxy group or an alkenoxy group and R.sub.3 represents a hydrogen atom, an alkyl group, an alkenyl group or an aryl group, wherein R.sub.4 represents an alkyl group, an alkenyl group, an aryl group or a heterocyclic group.The material can be used to form a color image with improved light and heat fastness.

Abstract: A color photographic light-sensitive material comprising a support having thereon a silver halide emulsion layer containing a 3-anilino-5-pyrazolone type magenta coupler and at least one of the compounds represented by the formula (I) ##STR1## wherein R.sub.1 and R.sub.2 represent each a tertiary alkyl group having 4 to 20 carbon atoms.

Abstract: A color photographic light-sensitive material containing at least one hydroquinone compound substituted with one or two tertiary alkyl groups having 15 carbon atoms, or a precursor thereof. The hydroquinone compounds are particularly useful for preventing color fog or color stain which is observed with color photographic light-sensitive materials.

Abstract: A desensitizing composition used for a recording material capable of forming a color image by the reaction of a colorless color former and an adsorbent, which contains at least one compound obtained by the addition reaction of an .alpha.,.beta.-unsaturated carboxylic acid derivative or an .alpha.,.beta.-unsaturated ketone with an amine, is disclosed. A method of desensitizing an adsorbent contained in a recording material which comprises using such composition is also disclosed.
