  • Publication number: 20120300043
Abstract: The present invention discloses a stereoscopic image display device includes a first image processing chip, a second image processing chip and a format reception unit. The first image processing chip carries out image processing on a 3D image including a frame image in which an image for left eye and an image for right eye are combined. The second image processing chip reproduces the image for left eye and the image for right eye from the 3D image. The first image processing chip has an OSD section that superimposes an OSD image to the frame image. The second image processing chip reproduces the image for left eye by using an image acquired from a combined area of the image for left eye that is defined in the output format received by a format reception unit and reproduces the image for right eye by using an image acquired from a combined area of the image for right eye that is defined in the output format received by the format reception unit.

  • Publication number: 20120300027
Abstract: The present invention discloses a stereoscopic image display device includes a 3D output processing unit, a format matching judging unit and a time out unit. The 3D output processing unit receives a selection of a 3D (3-Dimensional) mode as an output format, and changes an output mode to the 3D mode and starts outputting a 3D (3-Dimensional) image based on the selected output format if the selection of the 3D mode is received while an image is output in a 2D (2-Dimensional) mode. The format matching judging unit judges a matching between the output format and a format of the image input to the stereoscopic image display device. The time out unit stops outputting the image in the 3D mode to return the output mode to the 2D mode if the format matching judging unit detects a mismatching of the format.

  • Patent number: 7889235
Abstract: A PC 40 outputs a picture signal for a white color to a TV 100, and generates chromaticity information by measuring luminance values of respective RGB color components from a picture displayed on the TV 100, thereby determining whether the chromaticity information undergoes a change by varying an output of any of the RGB color components by a predetermined amount. Subsequently, when the chromaticity information has not undergone a change, the contrast of the TV 100 is lowered by a predetermined amount, and re-acquisition re-determination of chromaticity information is executed. On the other hand, when the chromaticity information has undergone a change, determination is made on whether the chromaticity information substantially matches chromaticity information representing white, and in the affirmative case, a white balance adjustment value is stored in an EEPROM 112 while in the negative case, the re-acquisition/re-determination of chromaticity information is repeated.

  • Patent number: 7414301
Abstract: The present invention provides a printed circuit board having an area of non-resist portion, where each non-resist portion expands gradually toward the back end of a land array in the dipping direction A. Thus the area of solder deposition also expands in the region of the land array, thereby excessive solder does not remain up to the back end of the land array, and resultantly the amount of solder buildup at the backside in the dipping direction A can be reduced. Further, the present invention makes it unnecessary to dispose a dummy land for the prevention of solder buildup at the backmost portion of the land array, and thus the space used for a dummy land can be utilized effectively.

  • Publication number: 20080068330
Abstract: A microcomputer 15 refers to the luminance stabilizing program and the look-up table stored in the ROM 16 to allow the video circuit 12 to execute a contrast adjustment of the video signal based on the look-up table such that the luminance change of the liquid crystal display unit 13 in the initial drive stage is kept constant. This makes it possible to correct the luminance change of the liquid crystal display unit 13 in the initial drive stage with the simple structure.

  • Patent number: 7239128
Abstract: An inspection and adjustment of a liquid crystal module have required a number of processes, which has been inefficient. According to the present invention, OSD image data is stored in a ROM 42 of a liquid crystal module 10, and the liquid crystal module 10 can independently display a plurality of test patterns simply by receiving a remote-control signal from a remote-control signal transmitter 60. Therefore, simply by putting the liquid crystal module on an inspection line 70, at each inspection station 71, a display pattern necessary for each inspection and adjustment is automatically switched and shown. Therefore, the inspection and adjustment of the liquid crystal module can be conducted without a process of connecting an exclusive substrate 110 and an image data generator 120 which used to be required only during the inspection and adjustment of each liquid crystal module 10 and a process for a worker to operate a prescribed device every time the type of inspection changes.
