  • Publication number: 20160367221
Abstract: An ultrasound diagnosis apparatus generates first data, based on a result of transmission and reception that are executed when a probe is located at a first position of a subject. The apparatus generates second data, based on a result of transmission and reception that are executed when the probe is located at a second position. Under a first constraint on an orientation of a section, the apparatus extracts, from the first data, first sectional image containing a structural object inside the subject and taken along a direction in which the object extends. Under a second constraint on the orientation of a section, the apparatus extracts, from the second data, second sectional image containing the object and taken along a direction in which the object extends. The apparatus generates joined image data composed of at east a part of the first sectional image and the second sectional image joined together.

  • Publication number: 20150173721
Abstract: An ultrasound diagnostic apparatus includes an alignment unit, a detector and a generator. The alignment unit performs alignment between three-dimensional ultrasound volume data and three-dimensional different-type medical image volume data of a type other than the three-dimensional ultrasound volume data. The detector specifies the position of a luminal area on the different-type medical image volume data and detects the specified position of the luminal area on the ultrasound volume data. The generator generates, as display image data to be displayed on a given display unit, projection image data obtained by projecting the ultrasound volume data from a viewpoint that is set in the luminal area on the basis of the position of the luminal area that is detected by the detector.

  • Patent number: 8216143
Abstract: An ultrasonic transceiver obtains scanning data by transmitting ultrasound to a subject and receiving a reflected wave from the subject. A biological motion part measures, during said scanning, cyclic biological motion of said targeted organ and then calculates a measured waveform that shows motion in relation to time used for said biological motion. An image data generator converts the scanning data into image data shown in a specified coordinate system, and generates an ultrasonic tomographic image. A display controller superposes a standard waveform for a measured waveform, and a measured waveform for the latest cycle, so as to match a specified time phase for each waveform, and causes a display part to display these with the ultrasonic tomographic image.
