Patent number: 9631308Abstract: A sewing machine for hem includes a turn-back device provided in front of a needle location position on a sewing machine bed, the turn-back device turning back an edge part of cloth into a state of being folded one above the other, and then feeding the turned-back cloth. In front of the turn-back device, a feed belt and a cloth presser foot are arranged opposite to each other with a cloth feeding path in between. By virtue of operation of a rotary solenoid performed on the basis of a detection result of a detector arranged in front of the opposing portion, the cloth presser foot is raised and lowered and thereby holds the cloth in cooperation with the feed belt so as to exert a movement force in the right and left directions onto the cloth.Type: GrantFiled: December 15, 2015Date of Patent: April 25, 2017Assignee: Yamato Mishin Seizo Kabushiki KaishaInventors: Takayuki Hayashida, Takashi Iba

Patent number: 8220401Abstract: In a sewing machine for covering chain stitch according to the present invention, a thread push member is mounted on a top cover shaft which drives a cover thread looper, and the thread push member is arranged on the cover thread guide. When swinging backward in association with a movement of the cover thread looper, the thread push member pushes the top cover thread passing through a guide hole of the cover thread guide, forcibly moves the top cover thread and keeps the top cover thread near a back end of the guide hole. The top cover thread is arranged at a predetermined position on a surface of a cloth without being affected by a force from the needle thread, and a covering chain stitch can stably be formed with the excellent appearance.Type: GrantFiled: September 25, 2009Date of Patent: July 17, 2012Assignee: Yamato Mishin Seizo Kabushiki KaishaInventor: Takayuki Hayashida

Patent number: 6683644Abstract: When the interior of an electronic camera is seen from the back of the camera, a storage medium chamber is located inside a grip part at the right part of a casing. A smart medium is inserted into and extracted from the storage medium chamber. An LCD is arranged at the left of the storage medium chamber, and the LCD and the storage medium chamber are arranged horizontally on a substrate. A metal shield member encloses the storage medium chamber. The shield member is integrated with a frame member that supports the LCD. The LCD is fixed to the substrate through the frame member. The frame member connects to a ground terminal of the substrate to thereby ground electronic circuits securely.Type: GrantFiled: May 19, 1999Date of Patent: January 27, 2004Assignee: Fuji Photo Film Co., Ltd.Inventors: Soichiro Nakao, Takayuki Hayashida, Mitsuo Soumi

Patent number: 6636264Abstract: In a portable electronic apparatus, control parts are concentrated in a small space, and they can be operated easily by one hand. A mode dial is provided on the back of a casing of the apparatus, at a position where the thumb of the right hand holding a grip part at the right of the casing is naturally positioned. A cross key is arranged at the left side of the mode dial. The cross key is used as a control key for selecting a variety of setting items and entering commands to change the settings. A menu/execution key for fixing the items and settings selected/changed with the cross key is arranged at the lower left of the cross key. It is therefore possible to perform a sequence of operations by moving the thumb efficiently.Type: GrantFiled: May 19, 1999Date of Patent: October 21, 2003Assignee: Fuji Photo Film Co., Ltd.Inventors: Soichiro Nakao, Takayuki Hayashida

Patent number: 6115557Abstract: A front chassis and a rear chassis of an electronic camera are made of light transmissible resin. The electronic camera has a plurality of light-shielding elements to prevent unnecessary light (external ambient light and internally emitted light, for example) from entering optical systems such as taking lenses and light guides which guide light to an electronic flash control sensor. Further, the shielding elements prevent unnecessary light from entering photoelectric converters such as imaging devices and electronic flash control sensors. These light shielding elements enables the interior components of the camera to be visible therethrough, while ensuring that operational functions of the electronic camera are not adversely affected by entering unnecessary light.Type: GrantFiled: July 22, 1998Date of Patent: September 5, 2000Assignee: Fuji Photo Film Co., Ltd.Inventors: Yutaka Maeda, Takayuki Hayashida, Yoshihiro Ishikawa, Keizou Uchioke

Patent number: 4436532Abstract: A process for converting solid wastes to gases suitable for use as a town gas comprising the steps of (1) pyrolyzing solid wastes at 550.degree. C. or higher in a pyrolyzing furnace to produce pyrolysis gases containing hydrogen, carbon monoxide and dioxide, methane and other hydrocarbons as well as chlorine-containing compounds, sulphur-containing compounds and other impurities, (2) washing the pyrolysis gases with an aqueous alkaline solution or the like, (3) refining the washed pyrolysis gases with the hydrogen contained in the pyrolysis gases, (4) reforming the refined pyrolysis gases by steam reforming, CO conversion and/or methanation and (5) separating the excess steam and carbonic acid gas from the reformed gases. In one embodiment, the washing (2) and refining (3) may be substituted by the high-temperature steam reforming of the pyrolysis gases in hot state supplied directly from the pyrolyzing furnace.Type: GrantFiled: March 9, 1982Date of Patent: March 13, 1984Assignees: JGC Corporation, Tsukishima Kikai Co., Ltd.Inventors: Katsunobu Yamaguchi, Seiichi Matsuoka, Takayuki Hayashida, Tomio Hayase
