  • Patent number: 10894427
Abstract: A printer includes a printer head, a sensor, and a processor. The printer head includes printing components. The sensor acquires data with respect to a distance by which the printer is moved in one of moving directions. The processor (i) adjusts a length of an image of a print subject so that the image of the print subject has a length two times a reference travel distance that is based on a distance acquired by the sensor, the distance acquired by the sensor being a distance by which the printer is moved from a starting position in a first moving direction, and (ii) controls the printer head in such a manner that, when the printer is moved in a second moving direction that is opposite to the first moving direction, the printer is made to print the adjusted image at the adjusted position of the image.

  • Publication number: 20190092056
Abstract: A printing device includes a housing having at a bottom surface thereof a print head in which printing elements are arrayed linearly in a main scanning direction, a detector configured to detect a movement distance of the housing in a sub-scanning direction, an inputter configured to input an instruction to start printing, an indicator disposed on an edge portion of the housing and configured to indicate a planned print position on a printing medium, and a processor. The processor is configured to determine whether the housing has been moved in the sub-scanning direction by a standard distance between the indicator and the print head in the sub-scanning direction after inputting by the inputter of the instruction to start printing, and cause the print head to start printing at a start printing position that is a position to which the housing has been moved in the sub-scanning direction by the standard distance.

  • Patent number: 10166802
Abstract: A stamp-face platemaking device transports a medium holder inserted into a plate insertion portion to a printing unit. The medium holder holds a stamp face material in a plate-like member, and has a predetermined pattern in a side end portion thereof. An optical sensor detects the top end portion of the medium holder on a sensor scanning line in the inserting direction, and the pattern start point and the pattern end point of the predetermined pattern. At least one of the horizontal and vertical sizes of the stamp face material is set based on the positions of two of the detected end portions. When the pattern end point is detected, platemaking with the stamp face material is started.

  • Patent number: 9582903
Abstract: The present invention is to maintain the viewability of display without impairing operability on a terminal side, even when the details of a touch operation performed on a display terminal device are transmitted to an external display device for display. In the present invention, when a touch operation is detected in an external transmission mode, the display terminal device generates details of a composite screen obtained by superimposing operation information (operation icon or animation image) indicating details of the touch operation on contents being displayed on the display screen (terminal screen), and transmits the contents of the composite screen to the external display device so as to change display contents on the external display device (display contents on its screen).

  • Patent number: 8918450
Abstract: The present drawing data stored in the present drawing data storage unit is compared with the preceding drawing data stored in the preceding drawing data storage unit for each of the drawing areas divided by the area dividing unit, thereby determining whether there is a change in the preceding drawing data for each of the drawing areas in the present drawing data. Then, control is performed to transmit to the client apparatus the drawing data in a drawing area determined to have a change by the comparison decision unit, except for a drawing area of the present drawing data determined to have no change by the comparison decision unit. Consequently, it is possible to remarkably reduce the amount of data transferred to the client apparatus as a result of a change in the drawing and therefore transfer the drawing data at high speed.

  • Patent number: 8004532
Abstract: A server apparatus and a server control method which transmits display data to a client apparatus and which displays the display data on a display screen of the client apparatus, wherein there are provided a plurality of accelerators, each of the plurality of accelerators being equipped with a difference detection circuit which compares the display data for a previous screen transmitted to the client apparatus with the display data for a current screen to be transmitted to the client apparatus to detect a difference therebetween. Then, the size of a drawing area to be allocated to each of the plurality of accelerators is calculated for each of the accelerators in response to a request from the client apparatus, and when a display request is made from a new client apparatus, the accelerator having a smaller drawing area among the calculated drawing areas is allocated to the new client apparatus.

  • Publication number: 20110074782
Abstract: An image capturing unit 22 of an apparatus captures an image of a viewer 11 viewing a display image displayed in a display unit 21. The apparatus detects a face of the viewer 11 from the captured image. The apparatus determines a position of the face thus detected and a position of a light source 12, respectively. The apparatus detects a reflection area 61 from the display image (including a clock object 31) based on the positions of the face and the light source. Subsequently, the apparatus executes, on data of the display image, the image processing of adding a reflection effect to the reflection area. Then, the apparatus causes the display unit 21 to display the display image based on the data on which the image processing has been executed.

  • Patent number: 7692725
Abstract: A display controller displays an image of a high resolution output from 13-Segment decoder on a main screen area of a display unit and displays an image of the standard resolution output from a single-Segment decoder on a subsidiary screen area of the display unit. When an instruction is entered from a user I/F to switch television broadcasts displayed respectively on the main screen area and on the subsidiary screen area of the display unit, a control unit instructs the display controller to display a still image of the standard resolution output from the single-Segment decoder on the main screen area until an image of a high resolution of the switched television broadcast is output from 13-Segment decoder.

  • Publication number: 20070234229
Abstract: When a display command received from a client apparatus is a real display command, a real display control unit extracts, out of the display data drawn in the drawing area, display data of an area corresponding to the display area of the client apparatus, and transferring the extracted display data to the client apparatus. When a display command received from the client apparatus is a real display command, a full display control unit reduces the display data drawn in the drawing area in accordance with the display area of the client apparatus, and transferring the reduced display data to the client apparatus. Even when the size of a display screen is small, the display data in the display area corresponding to a request from the client apparatus is transferred so that the display data can be displayed on the client apparatus in an easy-to-view manner.
