  • Patent number: 5286707
Abstract: The present invention provides a recording medium for sublimation type for heat-sensitive transfer recording process which comprises laminated paper as the substrate. In this laminated paper at least two cellulosic fiber papers are bonded together by adhesive agent and one side is coated with a dye accepting layer. Therefore, the recording medium for sublimation type for heat-sensitive transfer recording process which the present invention concerns uses, as the substrate, laminated paper in which cellulosic fiber papers are bonded together. This structure almost completely prevents curling of the recorded medium and also lowers the substrate production cost to achieve a low-cost recording medium and thereby greatly contribute to the expanded use of sublimation type recording printers.
