  • Patent number: 6907001
Abstract: A packet switch which includes input line interfaces for converting variable length packets received from input lines to fixed length cells, a switch unit for switching said packets in cell units, output line interfaces for converting output cells from the switching unit to variable length packets and transmitting the variable length packets over output lines. Each of the input line interfaces has a cell output controller for queuing the fixed length cells for each output line according to the degree of priority of the cells, and for selectively outputting the stored cells in the queues in order of priority, thereby to suppress the transmission of cells with a low priority during the times of congestion.

  • Patent number: 6580059
Abstract: There is provided a control apparatus for a light radiation-type rapid heating and processing device in which a power factor can be improved, the influence of a higher harmonics strain can be eliminated and a rapid temperature increase of a heated substrate can be performed without any delay in control. Lamps are arranged within a lamp chamber of the light radiation-type rapid heating and processing device, and the workpiece heated and processed is arranged in a processing chamber. The region where the lamps are arranged is divided into a plurality of zones corresponding to a distance from the center of the region, and at least one lamp is arranged in each of the zones. A power control unit is provided for each of the zones. The control parts generate a PWM signal in response to a control pattern stored in advance and send it to each of the power control units.

  • Patent number: 6329765
Abstract: To eliminate the effect of high-frequency distortion on the power supply side in filament lamp lighting devices that perform light adjustment of multiple filament lamps. In a filament lamp lighting device that has an alternating current power supply connected to the input side and lights multiple filament lamps by controlling its output power, in Lamp lighting control circuits 2-1 through 2-n are established to respond to multiple filament lamps 4-1 through 4-n. When their switching elements are ON, these lighting control circuits 2-1 through 2-n supply input current to the filament lamps 4-1 through 4n; when the switching element is OFF, current continuous to flow to the filament lamp by means of energy stored in an inductance L. Subsequent alternation of the ON and OFF states supplies the filament lamp with output current with roughly the same shape as the input current waveform.

  • Patent number: 5043598
Abstract: A high voltage generating circuit which includes a switching circuit for switching a DC input, a fly-back transformer whose input coil is driven by pulses delivered from the switching actuation of the switching actuation of the circuit, a rectifier circuit for rectifying the fly-back voltage generated in the output coil of the fly-back transformer, a capacitor for smoothing the rectified output, and a voltage stabilizing circuit. A diode is electrically connected to one terminal of the output coil of the fly-back transformer on the low-voltage side thereof as compared with the ground, the diode being so determined as to position in the forward direction to the direction of rectification. The voltage stabilizing circuit is formed by a voltage sensing circuit for sensing a DC high voltage output, comparing it with a reference voltage applied from a reference voltage source and generating an output of a result of comparison and a control circuit connected between the anode of the diode and the ground terminal.

  • Patent number: 4918569
Abstract: A discharge load driving circuit has a transformer with a low voltage coil and a high voltage coil wound around a magnetic core. The high voltage coil has a transformation ratio for setting a high self-resonance frequency value for the transformer to thereby output high voltage at a short rise time period. The discharge load driving circuit further includes a switching element connected to the transformer for switching on and off a d-c input supplied thereto through the low voltage coil of the transformer. The discharge load driving circuit further includes a driver circuit for driving a switching element driving pulse, a control circuit for controlling the driver circuit, a discharge load connected to the high voltage coil for discharging load by a high voltage output generated in the high voltage coil when the switching element is turned on, and a detector for detecting a flow of discharge current in the discharge load. The switching element repeats its on-off action in a predetermined.
