  • Patent number: 9457679
Abstract: A charge control device determines a current value acquired by dividing a current amount that should be charged in a secondary battery in a vehicle at a charging location by an allowable charging time at the charging location on the basis of a charging amount as a physical quantity associated with the charging state of the secondary battery. When the vehicle arrives at the charging location, the charge control device allows a charging device provided at the charging location to charge the secondary battery with the current having the determined current value for the allowable charging time.

  • Publication number: 20160200203
Abstract: This charging device is provided with a charger, a resistor, a ground-side switch, and a determination device. The charger charges a secondary battery that is provided to a vehicle. The resistor is connected in parallel with the charger. The ground-side switch connects the charger and the resistor in an openable/closable manner. The determination device acquires information indicating that the ground-side switch is closed and information indicating that a vehicle-side switch that connects the secondary battery and the charger in an openable/closable manner is open and subsequently determines that the vehicle-side switch is short-circuited when a physical quantity that relates to the electricity of the resistor does not decrease.

  • Publication number: 20160005310
Abstract: Adjustment values, including a station stop time or a departure interval, are set for each vehicle. Next, the set adjustment values and a traveling pattern are used to calculate the power consumption by and regenerative power from each vehicle when in operation for each time point. Next, the total vehicle power at each time point is calculated by subtracting the total regenerative power from braking vehicles from the total power consumption by powering vehicles one a per time point basis. Next, a positive value or a negative value is extracted from the total vehicle power at each time point. Next, an evaluation value is calculated using the absolute value of the total of the extracted values. Next, adjustment values that produce the smaller evaluation value are identified.

  • Publication number: 20150214761
Abstract: Within a range of a second limit current (±I_adj_max) set based on the performance of a secondary battery (140), a charging and discharging control device (170) determines an upper limit value (I_adj_limit) or a lower limit value (?I_adj_limit) of a state of charge (SOC) adjustment current (I_adj) in accordance with load power (required power and regeneration power) of a vehicle (100). Using an adjustment logic determined based on these limit values of the SOC adjustment current (I_adj), the charging and discharging control device (170) also determines the SOC adjustment current (I_adj) corresponding to an actually measured SOC value of the secondary battery (140).
