  • Patent number: 7533844
Abstract: An object of the present invention is to provide a paper splicing apparatus that can improve workability of an operator and splicing accuracy at low cost with a simple construction. Thus, a paper splicing apparatus that carries out paper splicing by sticking together a tip of a new web pulled out from a rolled web to an old web drawn out from another rolled web comprises a first reciprocating member provided to freely reciprocate in an approaching/departing direction to/from a surface of the old web, a second reciprocating member provided to freely reciprocate in the approaching/departing direction independently of the first reciprocating member, a first roller pivotally supported to freely rotate with respect to the first reciprocating member, and a second roller pivotally supported to freely rotate with respect to the second reciprocating member with the new web fastened between the first roller and the second roller.

  • Patent number: 6568304
Abstract: An order changing method in a corrugating machine having a slitter scorer devices and a plurality of cut-off devices includes a step of aligning a dividing slit of an old order corrugated fiberboard web, which does not coincide with a centerline of the old order corrugated fiberboard web, with a dividing slit of a new order corrugated fiberboard web, which does not coincide with a centerline of the new order corrugated fiberboard web, wherein the new order corrugated fiberboard web has a width different from a width of the old order corrugated fiberboard web such that the method can decrease the number of defective sheets generated during an order change.

  • Patent number: 5916414
Abstract: A presser shoe is disposed over the entire width of a single-faced corrugated board opposedly to a glue applicator roll with a traveling path of the single-faced corrugated board therebetween, and a flexible tube is provided which presses the presser shoe toward the single-faced corrugated board by air pressure. The air pressure to be fed to the flexible tube is regulated to a predetermined pressure by an air pressure regulator so as to afford a constant pressing force continually even in the use of single-faced corrugated boards of different flutes.

  • Patent number: 5611887
Abstract: To provide a corrugating roll for a single facer which avoids generation of press marks or fracture of paper without a loss of paper by suppressing a contact pressure between a corrugating medium and a liner paper, and which may manufacture the corrugated paper in a low cost with easiness of machining work, in a corrugating roll for a single facer, in which a pair of corrugating rolls engage with each other through a tooth form in parallel to roll axes on circumferential surface portions of the rolls, a profile of a tooth tip portion is composed, in combination, of a plurality of arcs that are symmetrical with respect to a tooth apex portion. The profile of the tooth tip portion includes the tooth apex portion and is constituted in combination by a first arc having substantially the same radius of curvature as that of an outer circle of the corrugating roll.
