  • Patent number: 10296153
Abstract: Provided is an electrostatic capacitance touch panel with high manufacturing yield that can significantly decrease occurrence of defective product due to short circuit as compared with related art even if there is short circuit between a dummy pattern and an electrode included in an insulated area with wide width recognized as distinct from the electrode. Several first electrodes 20, several second electrodes 30, and a dummy pattern 50 made from the same material as or a material with the same refractive index as the electrode provided in an insulated area 40 between the adjacent first electrode 20 and the second electrode 30 are provided over the same surface of an insulating substrate 10. The dummy pattern 50 is segmented in the long direction of the insulated area.

  • Patent number: 10175811
Abstract: The objective is to reduce stress applied to a connector tail. The connector tail is configured such that a slit of length L having an opening end is formed at one end side, a leading end part is branched by the slit into at least a first connection portion and a second connection portion, and when the distance between the first connection portion and the second connection portion while the first connection portion and the second connection portion are deformed to form an angle ? is set as H, the following relationship holds: H/L?0.07 (where the units of H and L are millimeters and ??4).
    Type: Grant
    Filed: September 20, 2016
Date of Patent: January 8, 2019
    Assignee: SMK Corporation

  • Patent number: 9992872
Abstract: An object of the present invention is to allow a connector tail connected to a curved place to be naturally folded. A touch sensor includes: a sensor unit that is curved at least at a peripheral edge; and a connector tail in which a first connection part having a first end portion connected to the sensor unit and a second connection part having a second end portion connected to a connector are continuously formed. The connector tail is configured such that the second connection part extends relative to the first connection part curved in accordance with the curve of the peripheral edge of the sensor portion in a direction in which the curved shape of the first connection part is canceled out.

  • Publication number: 20170160827
Abstract: An object of the present invention is to allow the front end of a connector tail to be naturally inserted into a connector, for example. A touch sensor includes: a sensor unit; and a connector tail having a first end portion connected to the sensor unit and a second end portion connected to a connector formed on a control substrate disposed on the back side of the sensor unit. The second end portion of the connector tail includes a correction portion inclined according to an inclination angle formed by the sensor unit and the control substrate.
