Patent number: 10484651Abstract: An image display control device according to an embodiment includes a display and a controller. The controller displays a first screen on the display. The first screen includes a first image and a second image. The first image is and image of a vehicle viewed from above. The second image is obtained by capturing a second area that is a part of a first area where is a capturing target around the vehicle. The controller displays, on the display, a third image that is switched from the second image, the third image. The third image is obtained by capturing a third area where is different from the second area. The third is selected as a part of area included in the first area. The controller displays identification information for identifying the third area within the first image, before the second image is switched to the third image.Type: GrantFiled: June 23, 2016Date of Patent: November 19, 2019Assignee: AISIN SEIKI KABUSHIKI KAISHAInventors: Kazuya Watanabe, Takayuki Nakasho, Masahiko Sakabe

Patent number: 7002452Abstract: To maintain a suitable vehicle separation between a driven vehicle and a preceding vehicle, a controller predicts a closest approach distance between the driven vehicle and the preceding vehicle on the assumption that the preceding vehicle decelerates at a deceleration detected by a sensor and that the driven vehicle decelerates at a prescribed assumed deceleration after running at a speed detected by the vehicle speed sensor for an idle running time. The controller predicts the speed at the time of closest approach when the separation between the preceding vehicle and the driven vehicle is the closest approach distance. A suitable vehicle separation is determined based on the predicted speed at the time of closest approach and a previously set length of time, and when the predicted closest approach distance is smaller than the suitable vehicle separation, a warning or braking force is generated.Type: GrantFiled: November 26, 2001Date of Patent: February 21, 2006Assignees: Aisin Seiki Kabushiki Kaisha, Toyota Jidosha Kabushiki KaishaInventors: Kazuya Watanabe, Takayuki Nakasho, Masahiko Sakabe, Keiji Kuzuya, Masakatsu Nonaka, Munenaga Igaki, Sueharu Nagiri
