  • Patent number: 11605859
Abstract: In order to provide a battery module and the like capable of maintaining a fastened state of a plurality of battery cells with high reliability, battery module includes a plurality of battery cells each having electrode terminals, a pair of end plates that cover both side end surfaces of battery stack including the plurality of stacked battery cells, and a plurality of fastening members that fastens end plates to each other. End plate forms overlapping portion that covers at least a portion of each fastening member covering each side surface of battery cells located on the both side end surfaces of battery stack, and overlapping portion and the fastening members are welded and fixed. According to the above configuration, by welding in a state in which a side surface of fastening member is further covered with overlapping portion, there is an advantage that firm fixation can be achieved while preventing disengagement of fastening member.

  • Patent number: 7985271
Abstract: An engine unit that enhances air intake efficiency of an engine air intake passage for sending air into a transmission case housing a continuously variable transmission. The engine air intake passage supplies air to an engine arranged in a lower portion of a vehicle body. An air cleaner cleans outside air to be sent to the engine air intake passage. A transmission air intake passage sends air into the transmission case. The transmission case is adjacent to the engine in a vehicle width direction. The engine air intake passage extends upward from a front portion of the engine. The transmission air intake passage extends upward from the front portion of the transmission case in the vehicle width direction of the air cleaner and the engine air intake passage.
