  • Patent number: 4670788
Abstract: A gray scale transformation circuit has a picture memory for storing a set of video data. Each video data represents the gray level of a picture element of IC module picture image. The transformation circuit comprises a register for holding video data read out from the picture memory and a transformation memory including memory locations in which transformation data are preset. The memory locations have addresses as a regular gray scale for the video data. The transformation data preset in the transformation memory is a function of the regular gray scale. One of the memory locations of the transformation memory is selected by the content of the register. Transformation data is read out from the selected memory location to be transferred to an image processing unit.

  • Patent number: 4656644
Abstract: A digital radio receiving apparatus includes a transversal demodulator which is controlled under an internal control mode and an external control mode selectively by means of a control circuit. The control circuit operates under the external control mode every time an alarm signal is issued when the transversal modulator functions in an abnormal operation state due to fading. In the external control mode, the control circuit produces an optimum control signal for elimination of the alarm signal.

  • Patent number: 4593413
Abstract: A space-diversity receiving system for microwave band radio communication including two antennas and receivers, an endless phase shifter, a hybrid combiner, a hybrid distributor, a voltage controlled oscillator, a signal mixer, a low pass filter, a detector, and a control circuit.Microwaves received by the antennas are detected by the receivers. One received signal is directly applied to the hybrid combiner. The other received signal is applied to the hybrid combiner via the endless phase shifter. The hybrid combiner combines these signals and outputs to the hybrid distributor. The hybrid distributor distributes the amplified output to as an intermediate frequency output and a sub output. The voltage controlled oscillator generates a series of sequential frequencies based on the control of its input voltage. The signal mixer mixes the sub output with the each sequential frequency output. The detector detects the mixed signal and transmits the detected signal to the control circuit.

  • Patent number: 4543659
Abstract: In a pellet pattern recognition method, a pellet pattern recognition apparatus is used which includes a table for determining a pellet pick-up priority order, pellet memory table for storing data of good and bad pellets as well as data representing an "already picked-up" state and a "not picked-up" state, and position memory table for storing a positional shift of each of the good pellets within a pellet pattern recognition range away from the picked-up pellet. When the good pellets are to be sequentially picked up, the shape identification and position detection of the pellets within the pellet pattern recognition range are effected by calculating the correlation coefficients. In this case, calculation is performed with respect to the pellet array on the basis of the results of the shape identification and position detection and initially set reference data, and the good pellet is stored, as the corresponding coordinate data, in the pellet memory table.
