  • Patent number: 11959519
Abstract: A preload inspection method for a bearing device for a vehicle wheel comprises: a first bearing preload value calculation step for calculating a first bearing preload value; a first rotating torque measurement step for measuring a first rotating torque; a caulking step for swaging the small-diameter stepped part to the inner ring; a second bearing preload value calculation step for calculating a second bearing preload value; a second rotational torque measurement step for measuring a second rotational torque; a third bearing preload value calculation step for calculating a third bearing preload value by adding, to the first bearing preload value, a preload change amount based on a differential torque between the first rotating torque and the second rotating torque; and a determination step for determining the suitability of the preload from the second bearing preload value and the third bearing preload value.

  • Patent number: 4531159
Abstract: An image pickup device comprises a main image pickup body, and a holding part provided angularly rotatable on one side surface of the main image pickup body. The holding part is mounted to rotate angularly in a plane other than a plane which is parallel to a vertical plane, where this vertical plane includes a center of gravity of the image pickup device and an optical axis or a straight line parallel to the optical axis of the image pickup device. The holding part is separated by a predetermined distance from the one side surface of the main image pickup device at an accommodated position thereof where the holding part extends along the one side surface of the main image pickup body, and a free end of the holding part lies substantially within the above vertical plane at a fully rotated position thereof where the holding part is drawn out in front of the main image pickup body.

  • Patent number: 4409619
Abstract: A portable television camera is equipped with an additional electronic view finder having an eyepiece arranged to project outside the camera body in a direction perpendicular to a longitudinal center axis of the camera body. The electronic view finder is pivotally mounted on the top of the camera body to be horizontally rotated causing the projecting eyepiece to be positioned above the the top of the camera body when unused. In one a mounting member having two L-shaped arms is employed for the attachment of the electronic view finder, utilizing a threaded hole at the bottom of the camera body which is not originally designed to carry an electronic view finder thereon. The electronic view finder may be used with or without a shouldering aid which can be attached to the bottom of the camera body.

  • Patent number: 4407437
Abstract: A shouldering aid for a portable television camera comprises a base member attachable to the television camera and a shoulder pad member pivotally connected to one end of the base member. The inclination angle of the shoulder pad member may be freely adjusted by means of screws, while a hand grip is attached to the other end of the base member. A manipulation knob is incorporated in the hand grip, and this knob is interlocked by means of a linking mechanism with a start switch of the camera. An electronic view finder may be mounted on the camera by means of a mounting assembly having an upper and lower arms. A rear end of the shoulder pad member may be T-shaped so that the shouldering aid is capable of functioning as a tripod.
