  • Patent number: 7031142
Abstract: A prism for reflecting rays of light 17L and 17R incident from left and right image pick-up directions on the rear side of the direction of travel A is disposed in parallel to the vertical direction of a vehicle. The image pick-up optical axis of an image pick-up unit 15 is set to tilt vertically and obliquely with respect to a horizontal plane C, whereby the images in the respective image pick-up directions which are obliquely above or below the horizontal plane are picked up by the image pick-up unit 15.

  • Publication number: 20050257950
Abstract: An electrical connection box includes a housing having a bottom plane with a recessed part at which the bottom plane is at least partially depressed; a circuit substrate accommodated into the housing to be overlapped on the bottom plane, the circuit substrate having a hole connectable to an inside of the recessed part of the housing and a space above the circuit substrate; and a potting material filled so that the circuit substrate can be buried into the housing. The hole is formed at a position corresponding to the recessed part of the housing.

  • Patent number: 6496168
Abstract: A transistor Q11 for supplying driving currents Ia to In to EL display elements 11a to 11n is provided in a stabilization voltage supply circuit 33. The transistor Q11 is connected to a current sensing resistor Ras for detecting a collector current of the transistor Q11. When a total current Ix for driving the EL display elements rises to a certain abnormal level, a bias suppressing element Qa is turned on to thereby reduce a base-emitter bias of the transistor 11.

  • Patent number: 6400405
Abstract: An apparatus for watching around a vehicle comprises an image pick-up unit 3 mounted on the exterior of a vehicle and a display unit 4 provided within the vehicle and used for displaying left and right images of the surrounding of the vehicle thus picked up by the image pick-up unit 3 together with a mask image 16 for dividing the surrounding image into the left and right images. In this case, two kinds of display colors including black and blew may be provided to the mask image 16. Further a photodiode 7 for detecting lightness outside the vehicle is provided. In a case where the luminous intensity outside the vehicle is decided to be high by a luminous intensity signal detected by the photodiode 7, a dark mask image 16 is displayed on the display unit 4, whereas when the luminous intensity outside the vehicle is decided to be low thereby, a light blew mask image 16 is displayed thereon.
