  • Publication number: 20110277524
Abstract: A lubricating oil for use in hot-rolling oil for aluminum sheet, comprises: (a) a mineral oil having a kinematic viscosity of 80 mm2/second or less at 40° C.; (b) 1 to 14 mass % of a fatty acid having 10 to 22 carbon atoms; (c) 5 to 15 mass % of an oil and fat and/or a synthetic ester; (d) 5 to 10 mass % of a phosphorus-containing extreme-pressure agent; (e) 0.1 to 1 mass % of a polyoxyethylene alkyl amine; and 0.1 to 10 mass % of an organic acid salt of a copolymer composed of a (meth)acrylic acid salt, (meth)acrylamide, and at least one amine monomer, and the mass ratio of the component (c) to the component (d) (component (c)/component (d)) is 1/0.6 to 1/1. The lubricating oil for use in hot-rolling oil for aluminum sheet of the invention provides a high level of rolling lubricity, iron corrosion protection in a hot-rolling step and a rolled aluminum sheet with high sheet surface quality can be obtained.

  • Patent number: 6083289
Abstract: The use of pulverized coal as the fuel to be injected into metallurgical or combustion furnace becomes possible enabled by improving the transportability thereof. Further, a pulverized coal is provided, which is inhibiting from bridging or channeling in a hopper, or piping choking. A water-soluble inorganic salt having a polar group is made to adhere to pulverized coal which is prepared from raw coal having an average HGI of 30 or above and which is in a dry state at the injection port of a metallurgical or combustion furnace, The inorganic salt is selected from among BaCl.sub.2, CaCl.sub.2, Ca(NO.sub.2).sub.2, Ca(NO.sub.3).sub.2, Ca(ClO).sub.2, K.sub.2 CO.sub.3, KCl, MgCl.sub.2, MgSO.sub.4, NH.sub.4 BF.sub.4, NH.sub.4 Cl, (NH.sub.4).sub.2 SO.sub.4, Na.sub.2 CO.sub.3, NaCl, NaClO.sub.3, NaNO.sub.2, NaNO.sub.3, NaOH, Na.sub.2 S.sub.2 O.sub.3, Na.sub.2 S.sub.2 O.sub.5, HNO.sub.3, H.sub.2 SO.sub.4, H.sub.2 CO.sub.3, and HCl.

  • Patent number: 5761941
Abstract: The present invention relates to a lubricant composition for press-forming an aluminum or aluminum alloy sheet at low temperatures. The composition contains a component (a): 45 to 90% by weight of one or more hydrocarbons selected from the group consisting of mineral oils, synthetic naphthenes, polybutenes, and poly(mono).alpha.-olefins, and component (b): 10 to 45% by weight of one or more C10-C24 linear or branched fatty alcohols. The ester value of the composition is not more than 70, and the kinematic viscosity is less than 20 cSt at 40.degree. C. When this composition is used in forming aluminum or aluminum alloy sheets, enhanced formability can be obtained, and shapes which could not obtained conventionally can be formed.
