  • Publication number: 20240380351
Abstract: An electric machine system includes an electric machine and a controller. The controller controls input and output of a first voltage with respect to the first winding set, and input and output of a second voltage with respect to the second winding set. The controller includes an output unit and a setting unit. The output unit outputs a first signal for the input and output of the first voltage, and a second signal for the input and output of the second voltage. The setting unit sets a phase difference between the first signal and the second signal. The setting unit changes the phase difference in correspondence with a variation of the magnitude of at least one of a first current flowing through the first winding set, and a second current flowing through the second winding set.

  • Publication number: 20240297606
Abstract: A controller for a motor device acquires a command signal indicating a target of a drive electric power, sets a first carrier frequency and a second carrier frequency of a carrier signal based on the command signal, and generates a pulse signal to control the drive electric power, based on the command signal and the carrier signal. The carrier signal is set to the first carrier frequency in a first section corresponding to a first phase range in a period of the command signal, and to the second carrier frequency in a second section corresponding to a second phase range other than the first phase range, in which the first carrier frequency is less than the second carrier frequency.

  • Publication number: 20240243630
Abstract: An electrical rotating device includes a hollow cylindrical stator provided with a stator core and a stator coil, a rotor provided rotatably inside the stator, a case that houses the stator and the rotor, and a hollow cylindrical partition wall that is made of electrically conductive metal and partitions an interior space of the case into an inner space with respect to the stator and an accommodation space in which a coil end of the stator coil laterally protruding in an axial direction of a rotary shaft of the rotor from an end of the stator core is accommodated and liquid coolant is circulated. At least a portion of the partition wall close to the stator core is divided into plural small sections by forming plural slits.

  • Publication number: 20230327506
Abstract: A surface magnet rotor includes a shaft member extending along a rotational axis, and a magnet portion formed around the shaft member and forming opposite magnetic poles arranged along a circumferential direction. A cross-section of the shaft member includes an intermediate line extending from the rotational axis to a center point in the circumferential direction between a d-axis and a q-axis of the magnet portion. In the cross-section, a first cross-sectional area delimited by the d-axis and the intermediate line is different from a second cross-sectional area delimited by the q-axis and the intermediate line.
