The client terminal includes processing circuitry configured to acquire address information of the client terminal on a network; transmit identification information for identifying the client terminal and the address information to the information processing apparatus; and receive a notification transmitted from the information processing apparatus based on the identification information included in the print data. The information processing apparatus includes processing circuitry configured to register the identification information and the address information; extract the identification information from the print data; and transmit the notification in accordance with the address information.
