  • Publication number: 20120187820
Abstract: A spark plug provides a reduced production cost by forming a tip from a metallic material containing Ni that exhibits excellent erosion resistance. The spark plug comprises an insulator having an axial hole extending in an axial direction; a center electrode inserted into the axial hole at a front end thereof; a metallic shell provided around the insulator; a ground electrode whose proximal end portion is fixed to a front end portion of the metallic shell; and a tip bonded to a distal end portion of the ground electrode such that a spark discharge gap is formed between the tip and a front end portion of the center electrode. The tip is formed of a metallic material containing Ni in an amount of 93 mass or more, and has a Vickers hardness of 163 Hv or less.

  • Publication number: 20120013241
Abstract: The object of the invention is to provide a spark plug including a central electrode and/or a ground electrode, which can suppress generation of corrosion-like generated foreign substances while maintaining high thermal conductivity and high strength. The spark plug according to the invention is a spark plug including a central electrode and a ground electrode provided to have a gap between the central electrode and the ground electrode with at least one of the central electrode and the ground electrode formed from an electrode material including 96% by mass or more of Ni, in which the electrode material includes a total content of from 0.05% by mass to 0.45% by mass of at least one selected from a group consisting of Y and rare earth elements, 0.05% by mass or more of Mn, and a total content of 0.01% by mass or more of at least one selected from a group consisting of Ti, V, and Nb, and the ratio (a/b) of the total content (a) of Ti, V, and Nb to the content (b) of Mn is from 0.02 to 0.40.

  • Publication number: 20100045566
Abstract: A satellite broadcast receiving converter includes a feedhorn to which a satellite broadcast radio wave is input, a circuit board on which a converting element for receiving and converting the satellite broadcast radio wave to an electric signal is mounted, and a support case which is provided on the periphery on the back end side of the feedhorn, and which supports and positions the circuit board at a position at which the satellite broadcast radio wave can be received. The feedhorn and the support case are made of synthetic resin formed by plating a surface of the synthetic resin with metal. At least the opening surface side surface and the inner side surface which serves as a waveguide path of the feedhorn are plated with metal. At least the inner side surface of the support case positioned between the inner wall of the feedhorn and a ground pattern of the circuit board is plated with metal.

  • Publication number: 20100026598
Abstract: A satellite broadcast receiving converter is provided with a feedhorn to which a satellite broadcast wave is input, a circuit board on which a converting circuit to convert the satellite broadcast wave to a receiving signal is formed, and a converter case disposed on a back end side of the feedhorn to support the circuit board. The converter case is comprised of two case members configured to cover and shield the front and back surfaces of the circuit board, and to be able to hold the circuit board. A first case member of the two case members is integrally formed with the feedhorn.

  • Patent number: 6498309
Abstract: The present invention provides a circuit board, which can reduce a conduction loss and generate no trouble in electric/electronic apparatuses in the case of being mounted to electric/electronic apparatuses adapting a high frequency current. A circuit board 1 is formed a manner that a copper foil layer 2 and a copper layer 3 are laminated on a base material 5 made of polytetrafluoroethylene so as to form a predetermined circuit, and further, a tin plating layer 4 is laminated on these copper layers.

  • Patent number: 6373445
Abstract: A converter is provided for changing frequencies of received signals generated by a single receiving antenna, when it receives radio waves transmitted from two artificial satellites (i.e., BS and CS) located in the same direction seen from a receiving point, to convert the received signals into received signals for transmission, wherein the received signals after such frequency changes can simultaneously be transmitted to a terminal side by way of a single transmission line. A radio wave of a right-hand circularly polarized wave transmitted from a broadcasting satellite (BS) as well as a radio wave of a right-hand circularly polarized wave and a radio wave of a left-hand circularly polarized wave both transmitted from a communication satellite (CS) are all received by a single receiving antenna, and each of received signals resulting from those radio waves is converted into a received signal for transmission by a converter.
