  • Patent number: 6213094
Abstract: In a high-pressure fuel pump, a back-pressure chamber connected to a high-pressure fuel discharge passage is formed in a casing facing a central portion of a first plate.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: January 11, 2000
Date of Patent: April 10, 2001
    Assignee: Mitsubishi Denki Kabushiki Kaisha
Inventors: Yoshihiko Onishi, Kouichi Ojima, Takemi Arima, Hideki Morikaku
  • Patent number: 4739181
Abstract: A starting motor comprising an epicycle reduction gear, a sun gear installed at the end of the rotary shaft of a driving motor, a plurality of planet gears engaging with the sun gear, a flange for supporting the planet gears, and an internal gear having cylindrical means including an output shaft driven by the revolution of the planet gears and a gear formed on the inner peripheral face thereof, the gear engaging with the planet gears, and a side plate extended from the cylindrical means in the diametric direction and positioned opposite to the flange, a pinion capable of sliding on the output shaft, a bearing surface being formed on either the flange or side plate to allow the opposite contact to slide thereon and a recess filled with grease being provided in the bearing surface.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: May 15, 1987
Date of Patent: April 19, 1988
    Assignee: Mitsubishi Denki Kabushiki Kaisha
Inventors: Kyoichi Okamoto, Hiroyuki Morikane, Takemi Arima
  • Patent number: 4715243
Abstract: A planetary reduction gear has an internally-toothed ring gear which is made of a molded synthetic resin. The ring gear has a rim formed in its outer periphery in which is formed a plurality of seats comprising through seats and non-piercing holes, the seats being provided at equal intervals around the periphery of the rim. The non-piercing seats extend only part way through the thickness of the rim. The provision of seats over the entire periphery of the rim causes sink marks which develop at the time of molding of the ring gear to act uniformly and deformation of the ring gear is prevented.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: August 30, 1985
Date of Patent: December 29, 1987

  • Patent number: 4712451
Abstract: A starter with a gear reduction mechanism including an internal ring gear formed of synthetic resin and a reinforcing member. The internal ring gear has a cylindrical portion and a toothed portion formed on an inner peripheral surface of the cylindrical portion. The reinforcing member is secured around an outer surface of the cylindrical portion.
    Type: Grant

  • Patent number: 4680979
Abstract: A planetary gear starter with a molded synthetic resin ring gear supported by a frame is disclosed. The ring gear has longitudinally-extending ribs formed in its outer surface which confront longitudinally-extending inward projections formed in the inner surface of the frame. A cylindrical elastic member has an annular portion which is press fit over the ring gear and longitudinally-extending projections which fit into the cavities formed between adjacent ribs and inward projections in the frame. The projections of the elastic member serve as shock absorbers and elastically transmit torque from the ring gear to the frame. The elastic member has an annular portion which reinforces the open end of the ring gear.
