  • Patent number: 9632277
Abstract: A small, high-performance image pickup lens unit having an IR cut filter that can be incorporated reliably therein while avoiding an increase in processing complexity. A sealing portion 14 is disposed between a lens 11 and an IR cut filter 12 in order to seal an internal space IS sandwiched between the lens 11 and the IR cut filter 12, and therefore a holder 40 can be molded integrally with the lens 11 and the IR cut filter 12 incorporated therein while preventing liquid resin MP from flowing in between the lens 11 and the IR cut filter 12. By molding the holder 40 integrally with the lens 11 and the IR cut filter 12 incorporated therein in this manner, an image pickup lens unit 100 can be reduced in size, and reductions in the number of components and the number of assembly man-hours can be achieved.

  • Patent number: 9223115
Abstract: Image pickup lens unit (100) comprises, in order to minimize the positional displacement between an optical system and a holder therefor, compound lens (6), holder (2) which houses compound lens (6) therein, and cover (4) which covers compound lens (6). In holder (2), there is formed peripheral section (2e) which restricts the movement of compound lens (6) in the XY-direction. In cover (4), there is formed projecting section (4e) which restricts the movement of compound lens (6) in the Z-direction.

  • Patent number: 9193117
Abstract: Method for manufacturing an image pickup lens unit. In the second molding step, by performing additional molding with respect to a first holder member 20 in which a lens 10 has been inserted, the separation of the lens 10 can be prevented and, at the same time, a second holder member 30 welded to the first holder member 20 can be molded. Therefore, molding of the second holder member 30 and the process of joining the second holder member with the first holder member 20 can be performed together. Additionally, when the lens 10 is fixed from the side of a third molding portion 63 of a second mold 52, the lens 10 and the third molding portion 63 are brought in contact by an elastic biasing force, thereby reducing breakage or deformation of the lens 10.

  • Patent number: 9134499
Abstract: An object is to provide a method for manufacturing an image pickup lens unit which can form a holder member with a small number of components, and can avoid generation or a ghost or flare caused by a positioning shape, an appearance problem, deterioration of dimension accuracy. In an installing step, since a lens 10 is positioned by one pressing member (protrusion) 61d of protrusions 61d and 62d which are a pair of pressing members disposed in a position corresponding to a pair of openings OP1 and OP2 by molds 51 and 52, it is possible to reliably fix the lens 10 in the molds 51 and 52 in a state of not affecting to a shape of a holder member 40 without interrupting the molding of the holder member 40. Thus, it is possible to avoid deterioration of the dimension accuracy due to the remaining large positioning shape on the holder member 40.

  • Patent number: 8982486
Abstract: An image pickup lens unit, in which a holder body and a cover can be easily connected together, without additional components and a resin flow path for the connection. A lens 10 is positioned in a first holder member 20 which remains in a mold. A second holder member 30 for preventing the lens 10 from falling off is molded such that it is welded to the first holder member having the lens 10 positioned therein. This facilitates molding of the second holder member 30 and joining of the second holder member 30 to the first holder member 20 at the same time. Since there is no need to provide a resin flow path for joining the first holder member 20 and the second holder member 30 together, the image pickup lens unit can be made small in size.

  • Publication number: 20140016216
Abstract: The present invention provides a manufacturing method for an image pickup lens unit, with which deformation of a lens occurring during molding of a holder can be suppressed. A resin holder member 40 that holds a lens 10 in position in an interior thereof can be formed. At this time, surfaces of first and second lens layers 12 and 13 of the lens 10 may be deformed by molds 51 and 52 such that a depression 12r or the like remains in the first and second lens layers 12 and 13. By subjecting the lens 10 and the holder member 40 to heating treatment, however, this distortion can be released, and as a result, an original optical precision of the first and second optical surfaces 12d and 13e of the lens 10 can be restored.

  • Patent number: 8313971
Abstract: It is possible to provide a camera module manufacturing method and a camera model which can improve performance of a camera module without complicating the manufacturing method. A light shield is formed on the side surface of each lens body (11) and a lens support member (12). Thus it is possible to obtain the diaphragm function for regulating the incident light flux transmission area and the function for suppressing the intrusion of stray light without using a separate diaphragm or a light shielding member.

  • Patent number: 8052416
Abstract: Provided is an injection nozzle and a molding apparatus which ensure injection pressure by suppressing resin leakage even when a resin material having a low viscosity is used. In injection molding, it is especially important that the injection nozzle and a fixed die are excellently kept in contact with each other and that the resin is not leaked. Resin leakage from between the injection nozzle and the fixed die lowers molding pressure, increases molding shrinkage of the resin, and directly affects the qualities of a molded product resulting in generation of a sink, transfer failure and the like. Since an O-ring in a circumferential groove of the nozzle closely comes in contact with a concave spherical surface while elastically transforming on the entire circumference, leakage is effectively suppressed even the resin is a heat-curable resin having a low viscosity.

  • Patent number: 7993555
Abstract: Provided are a structure of molding tools and an injection molding device that can easily perform molding of an optical element even from a resin of low velocity or the like and can suppress any negative effects by air. The structure of the molding tools includes between the molding tools (61, 62) a fixed molding tool (61) and a movable molding tool (62) and an O-ring (63a) for keeping air tightness and a resin seal (63b) for preventing any resin leakage. The O-ring (63a) performs decreasing of the pressure in a cavity (CV) formed by joining the molding tools (61, 62), whereby the vacuum molding in which resin supply and resin curing is carried out under a decreased pressure can be performed. Accordingly, the effects such as prevention of air bubbling due to air trapping by injected resin within the cavity (CV) can be attained. Furthermore, the resin seal (63b) can prevent any resin leakage from the molding tools (61, 62) even when the resin having a low viscosity is used.

  • Publication number: 20100178377
Abstract: In repeating strokes for injecting a resin material, a piston (13) is slid to an inlet position (P2) within a cylinder (12). Accordingly, when the piston (13) is moved backward further, the resin near the piston (13) is replaced with a fresh resin supplied from a resin reservoir section (RT). Therefore, in the subsequent injection stroke, only the fresh resin can be always injected. Thus, there is no possibility that the rein stays beyond the pot-life and starts to cure or causes an increase in viscosity within the cylinder (12). Further, any foreign matter such as a semi-cured resin is not produced. Therefore, clogging of the resin passage and the flow of the foreign matter into a molding cavity can be suppressed. As a result, given molding conditions can be always ensured, and, thus, highly accurate molding products can be produced with high reproducibility.
