    Abstract: Polyester resin for a toner binder obtained by a reaction employing a polycarboxylic acid or its derivative, and a polyol comprising a phenolic resin possessing an oxyalkylene unit. This polyester resin applied for a toner binder for electrophotography which is excellent for fixing at low temperature and resistance to offset at elevated temperature.
