  • Patent number: 8908756
Abstract: An image transmission apparatus may include a transmission unit that transmits a moving image compressed by lossy compression as first image data to an external apparatus through wireless communication, the transmission unit transmitting image data corresponding to one image in the moving image as second image data, the second image data being image data compressed at a lower compression rate than the lossy compression or not compressed, an instructing unit that outputs a disconnection signal to disconnect the wireless communication in response to an external manipulation, and a control unit that receives the disconnection signal from the instructing unit, the control unit controlling to disconnect the wireless communication in the transmission unit after the transmission of the second image data in the transmission unit has been completed.

  • Patent number: 8715163
Abstract: A processing device (2) includes an analog circuit block (6), a digital circuit block (7), a casing (12) which houses elements including (6) and (7) and serves as a conductive shield member, and a connecting connector (13) which has functions, for example, of electrically connecting the casing (12) and a first ground terminal (6a) provided in the analog circuit block (6). Level of noise signals generated from the analog circuit block (6) is lower than the level of noise signals generated from the digital circuit block (7). Therefore, when the casing (12) is electrically connected to the first ground terminal (6a) provided in the analog circuit block (6), the casing (12) can maintain a stable potential thereby more effectively working as the conductive shield member. Thus, leakage of the noise signals generated at driving of internal electronic circuitry is effectively suppressed in an electronic apparatus such as a receiving apparatus.

  • Patent number: 8542271
Abstract: A monitor device for use with an endoscope apparatus, which has first and second display modes. In the first display mode, the monitor device displays, in real time, any image transmitted in a normal radio communication state. In the second display mode, the monitor device displays a noise-free image in real time, if a radio communication error occurs. If one-frame (or one-field) image data is not received within the frame (or field) time due to a communication error, the monitor device displays, in the second display mode, the image data received in a normal state immediately before the one-frame (or one-field) image data, and informs the operator of the communication error.

  • Publication number: 20120062715
Abstract: A receiving device of a wireless endoscopic apparatus includes a communication unit, a storage unit, and a determination unit. The communication unit communicates with a transmitting device using a communication channel selected from among n (n>1) communication channels each having a use frequency band partially overlapping with that of at least one of other communication channels, and receives image data transmitted from the transmitting device. The storage unit stores x (1<x?n) communication channel groups to which L (1?L<n) communication channels belong. The determination unit selects an arbitrary defined communication channel group from among the communication channel groups stored by the storage unit, and detects the usage state of a communication channel belonging to the selected communication channel group.
