    Abstract: The present invention provides a transparent ABS resin composition which enables a production of a molded article retaining an excellent mechanical strength without decreasing the transparency and opacity, containing: based on a total mass of the transparent ABS resin composition, 70 to 98% by mass of a transparent ABS resin; and 2 to 30% by mass of a glass filler. The glass filler contains, based on a total mass of the glass filler, 55 to 60% by mass of silicon dioxide (SiO2), 10 to 15% by mass of aluminium oxide (Al2O3), 18 to 22% by mass of calcium oxide (CaO), 2 to 8% by mass of boron oxide (B2O3), 0.01 to 1% by mass of magnesium oxide (MgO), and 0.01 to 1% by mass of sodium oxide (Na2O) or potassium oxide (K2O). The mass ratio of calcium oxide to silicon dioxide (CaO/SiO2) in the glass filler is 0.36 to 0.40.
