  • Patent number: 12246530
Abstract: An inkjet recording apparatus includes a conveying belt, a recording head, and a flushing controller. The conveying belt includes the plurality of openings formed as a plurality of rows of openings, each row composed of openings arranged at predetermined intervals in a widthwise direction of the conveying belt. The openings of each of the plurality of rows of openings include overlapped portions at which the openings are over-lapped with the openings of any other of the plurality of rows of openings along a widthwise direction of the conveying belt. The flushing controller allows the recording head to do flushing by allowing each of all the nozzles inclusive of the nozzles facing the overlapped portions to eject ink a predetermined number of times.

  • Publication number: 20250010638
Abstract: A processor acquires a pair of first lateral edge positions when a first surface of a target sheet serves as a printing surface. The processor acquires a pair of second lateral edge positions when a second surface of the target sheet serves as a printing surface. The processor acquires matching scale information that specifies a matching scale image from among a plurality of first scale images formed on the first surface of the target sheet whose position matches a position in a width direction of one of a plurality of second scale images formed on the second surface of the target sheet. The processor sets a reference center position according to a ratio of an interval between the pair of second lateral edge positions to an interval between the pair of first lateral edge positions and the matching scale information.

  • Patent number: 11048987
Abstract: A control unit determines as a sheet center actual position a center position of a print sheet, and adjusts a center position of the image to be printed on the basis of a difference from the sheet center actual position. Further, the control unit prints a main scale image along a primary scanning direction on one face of a print sheet for a test chart, prints a vernier scale image along the primary scanning direction on the other face of the print sheet, determines a deviation between a reference center position of the print engine and a reference center position of the line sensor on the basis of a scale mark of the main scale image that agrees with a scale mark of the vernier scale image, and moves a center position of the image to be printed so as to reduce the determined deviation.

  • Patent number: 10894434
Abstract: When a replaceable unit is mounted to a main body, if a main body identifier reference value stored in a local memory of the replaceable unit is different from the main body identifier, the main body rewrites the main body identifier reference value, writes a life counter value stored in the main body memory into the local memory as a master counter reference value, and writes a life counter value stored in the local memory separately into the local memory as a life counter reference value. The main body increments the life counter values due to an action, and determines a life count value of the replaceable unit on the basis of a difference between the life counter value in the main body memory and the master counter reference value and a difference between the life counter value in the local memory and the life counter reference value.
