    Abstract: The present invention provides: a drawer that is supported so as to be horizontally movable in the front-rear direction between an open position and a closed position through a front-face opening; a table that allows an expendable or a processing unit used for analysis to be mounted in the drawer; and a moving-direction transforming means that, while the drawer is moved toward the rear side from the open position to the closed position, moves horizontally until the expendable or the processing unit mounted on the table passes through the front-face opening from the front side to the rear side and moves the table toward the upper side in synchronization with the horizontal movement of the drawer toward the rear side after the expendable or the processing unit mounted on the table passes through the front-face opening. This makes it possible to easily and reliably perform the work of replacing a chip rack.

    Abstract: An automated analysis device is provided with a casing accommodating an analysis device. A cover is axially supported with freedom to pivot, between a closed position and an upwardly-open open position, about a support shaft provided at one side of the casing. A closing device is capable of inhibiting opening of the cover in the closed position, and is provided with a projecting portion that protrudes from a front surface of the cover toward the rear, a lock lever which is axially supported with freedom to pivot about a pivoting support shaft, and which pivots from the work surface in a direction approaching the projecting portion to engage with the projection portion, thereby inhibiting opening of the cover. A safety cover can thus be locked securely.

    Abstract: A pedestal unit usable for a raised floor is disclosed which comprises: a pair of beams; and a pair of pedestal frames for supporting the beams at both ends of the beams, respectively. Each pedestal frame comprises: a pair of leg members; a pair of base plates for supporting the leg members; respectively, and a connecting member with a predetermined length for rigidly connecting the legs member each other with a predetermined interval. The pedestal frame may be installed under a middle portion of the beams, which frame may be installed after installation of pedestal frames at ends of beams for easy adjustment. Additional pedestal frames for supporting additional beams may be fixed to the pedestal frames or the beam. A supporting surface of leg member may have a mount provided by casting and be cut for accurate dimensions.
