  • Publication number: 20230312689
Abstract: It is an object of the present invention to provide antibodies against coronavirus (SARS-CoV-2). It is also an object of the present invention to provide a pharmaceutical composition against coronavirus infection using the antibody. According to the present invention, an antibody or antigen-binding fragment thereof that binds to the receptor-binding domain present in the spike protein of coronavirus and is capable of neutralizing the coronavirus, and a pharmaceutical composition for the prevention or treatment of coronavirus infection containing the antibody or antigen-binding fragment, are provided.

  • Publication number: 20220002389
Abstract: The present inventors have conducted intensive studies on an antibody which controls HIV in an administration group with a high probability over a long period of time with one or several times of single-agent administration. As a result, the present inventors have surprisingly found that, when an SW-1C10 antibody, which is obtained by producing an antibody gene reported as 1C10 in silkworms, is singly administered only a few times, the viral load in the blood is suppressed to the detection limit or lower at an early stage in all of individuals to which the antibody has been administered, and moreover, the viral RNA load in the blood is maintained at the detection limit or lower for a long time of 12 weeks. Also, the yield of the antibody in silkworms is approximately several hundreds ?g per cocoon, or several ?g per 1 mg of cocoon, and studies to increase the productivity more than this level have not been conducted heretofore.

  • Patent number: 4290337
Abstract: A fastener set comprising a bolt body, a nut and a washer which are fitted onto the bolt body. Said bolt body has a notched portion which can be broken by a predetermined torsional force. Said nut is coated by a composition containing a ester obtained by only partial esterification of a polyol having not more than twelve carbon atoms and a fatty acid or an oxy-acid. The reaction force resulted from a fastening torque applied to the nut is transmitted to the bolt body so as to break off from the bolt body a surplus portion extending above the notched portion.
