  • Publication number: 20240090043
Abstract: Provided is a wireless communication system in which, based on a random access scheme, a transmission opportunity (TXOP) acquired by a wireless access point is granted to a wireless station when performing uplink data transmission from the wireless station to the wireless access point and the TXOP acquired by the wireless station is granted to the wireless access point when performing downlink data transmission from the wireless access point to the wireless station, the system includes a scheduling unit for TXOP granting determining one or more wireless stations having a quality of an uplink data transmission lower than a prescribed value as TXOP responders to which the wireless access point grants the TXOP, and determining one or more wireless stations having a quality of a downlink data transmission lower than the prescribed value as TXOP holders which grant the TXOP to the wireless access point.

  • Publication number: 20120287342
Abstract: A horizontal synchronization detection device includes a pulse detection portion that detects a pulse in a horizontal synchronization signal contained in a video signal and acquires a pulse width of the detected pulse, a synchronization pulse decision portion that determines the pulse satisfying a condition that a difference between its pulse width and a reference pulse width is within a first predetermined range as a synchronization pulse, a mean pulse width acquisition portion that averages out a pulse width of the synchronization pulse for each field and obtains a mean pulse width thereof, and a reference pulse width correction portion that determines, for each synchronization pulse in a current field, whether a difference between its pulse width and the mean pulse width in a previous field is within a second predetermined range, and corrects the reference pulse width and/or the first predetermined range based on the determination result.

  • Patent number: 8253805
Abstract: Pulse detection portion detects pulses in a horizontal synchronization signal and acquires the occurrence period and the pulse width of the detected pulses. Synchronization pulse decision portion determines pulses, for which the differences between the occurrence period and the reference period and between the pulse width and the reference pulse width are within their respective error tolerance ranges, as synchronization pulses. Mean period acquisition portion obtains the mean period by averaging occurrence periods of the synchronization pulses. Reference period correction portion carries out either or both of correcting the reference period so as to get closer to the mean period and correcting the error tolerance range of the reference period so as to get narrower, under the condition that the occurrence frequency of the synchronization pulses for which the difference between the occurrence period and the mean period is outside of a predetermined tolerance range exceeds a predetermined threshold.

  • Publication number: 20090079870
Abstract: A first candidate selection portion 130 selects format candidates based on the horizontal synchronizing cycle and the vertical synchronizing cycle of an input video signal. A second candidate selection portion 140 selects formats having the tolerance ranges for the horizontal synchronizing cycles within which the horizontal synchronizing cycle of the input video signal falls as format candidates. A format decision portion 160 determines the format of the input video signal from format candidates from the first candidate selection portion 130 when format candidate(s) is obtained by the first candidate selection portion 130, and determines the format of the input video signal from format candidates selected by the second candidate selection portion 140 when no format candidate is obtained by the first candidate selection portion 130.

  • Patent number: 4619417
Abstract: In an acceleration sensor for use in an automobile seatbelt system comprising a rolling body which moves when subjected to an acceleration, a cup-like receptacle member for supporting the rolling body on a sloping surface rising towards an outer periphery of the receptacle member, and a pivotally mounted actuator over the rolling body for triggering a web halting mechanism, wherein the sloping surface is formed with a plurality of radially disposed ribs, so that the rolling body is prevented from rolling around the sloping surface even when subjected to vibration from rough roads. The invention prevents the web belting mechanism from being triggered spuriously without diminishing the sensitivity of the acceleration sensor in a bona fide vehicular emergency situation.
