  • Patent number: 11929201
Abstract: A surface mount inductor includes a coil including a wound portion and a feeder end portion drawn out from the wound portion, a compact that contains a magnetic powder and that encapsulates the coil, and an external terminal disposed on the compact and connected to the coil. The compact has surfaces including two pressed surfaces, opposing each other in a direction of an axis of the wound portion and formed by being pressed in the direction of the axis, and a non-pressed surface, adjacent to the two surfaces and not pressed. The coil is disposed so that the axis of the wound portion is parallel to a mount surface of the compact. The mount surface is included in the non-pressed surface, the feeder end portion is exposed from the mount surface, and the external terminal is formed on only the non-pressed surface and connected to the feeder end portion.

  • Patent number: 8892286
Abstract: If it is determined that switching from a CD mode to a CS mode is requested by a running mode switching request switch, an ECU determines whether or not SOC of a power storage device is higher than a threshold value. If SOC is determined to be higher than the threshold value, ECU further determines whether or not temperature of the power storage device is lower than a threshold value. If SOC is determined to be higher than the threshold value and the temperature is determined to be lower than the threshold value, the ECU denies the request for switching from the CD mode to the CS mode, and maintains the CD mode as the running mode.

  • Publication number: 20120159024
Abstract: According to one embodiment, a semiconductor apparatus including a slave device which includes a plurality of slave interfaces, an adjustment unit, a processing unit, and a processing unit. The plurality of slave interfaces are connected to the bus to receive transmission instructions from master devices at the first frequency. The adjustment unit decides a processing sequence of the transmission instructions which are received through the plurality of slave interfaces according to priority information. On priority information, a plurality of master devices are prioritized in a sequence depending on association of processing content among the plurality of master devices. The processing unit performs a data transmission process corresponding to a transmission instruction at a second frequency according to the processing sequence decided by the adjustment unit. The transmission instruction instructs to transform data to/from a module. The second frequency is higher than the first frequency.

  • Publication number: 20110219173
Abstract: According to one embodiment, there is provided a semiconductor memory system including a controller and a memory unit. The controller includes a generation unit, an association unit, a retaining unit, an encoding/decoding unit, and a determination unit. When the access request information is managed, the encoding/decoding unit performs, without generating an obfuscation information by the generation unit, an encoding processing or a decoding processing by using the obfuscation information retained in the retaining unit. And when the access request information is not managed, the encoding/decoding unit performs, after the generation unit generates obfuscation information based on the access request information, the encoding processing or the decoding processing.

  • Publication number: 20100162055
Abstract: A memory system includes a nonvolatile memory, a volatile buffer memory connected to the nonvolatile memory, an error counting unit that detects, for each of divided areas formed by dividing a storage area of the volatile buffer memory into a plurality of areas, a parity error in inputting data to and outputting data from the divided areas and counts a number of times of accumulation of the parity error, and a control unit that sets the divided area, in which the number of times of accumulation of the parity error counted by the error counting unit exceeds a predetermined number of times, in a disabled state.

  • Patent number: 6959105
Abstract: A fingerprint identification device to identify fingerprints is equipped with a fingerprint reader unit to input a fingerprint to be detected and a database unit to record a fingerprint database which is provided in advance. A fingerprint comparing unit identifies the input fingerprint via the fingerprint reader unit by comparing with the fingerprint database recorded in the database unit and a user recording unit records the input fingerprint input by the fingerprint reader unit.

  • Patent number: 6647133
Abstract: A fingerprint identification device judges that the input fingerprint is identical to the fingerprint in the database only when a the touch sensor detects the human finger and a the fingerprint processing unit detects that the input fingerprint is identical to a fingerprint in the database. The touch sensor includes an oscillator that outputs a high frequency signal. An electrode unit applies the high frequency signal to the human finger. A detector unit detects a variation of impedance values varied by the human finger contracting the electrode unit and outputs an output signal based on the variation of impedance values. A discriminator unit determines whether the human finger is in contact with the electrode unit by comparing the output signal from the detector unit with a predetermined reference value.
