  • Patent number: 7450815
Abstract: An image recording and reproducing apparatus can record and reproduce both a digital signal and an analog signal. Operations of a broadcast receiving apparatus and a recording and reproducing apparatus are integrated, and superimposition of information on an analog image is realized during recording and reproduction of a digital signal. The broadcast receiving apparatus and the recording and reproducing apparatus communicate with each other to be able to set and obtain states of the opposite apparatus, so that one of the apparatus notifies information of the other apparatus to a user, and causes the user to set the information in a picture having the same form as a picture used to notify a state of one apparatus to the user, and causes the user to set the state.

  • Patent number: 6158682
Abstract: On the occasion of stopping the tape running at a high speed, a winding radius of the tape supply reel is detected to set the tape deceleration rate (a) on the basis of the detected winding radius of the supply reel. After the tape running speed is decelerated up to the allowable speed VL in the predetermined deceleration rate (a), the tape is stopped by effectuating the brake. Thereby, the tape can be driven at the speed higher than the allowable speed VL without generating any damage, enabling reduction of time required for the fast-forward/rewind operation. Moreover, application flexibility is improved by providing a couple of tape running modes at the first high speed V1 which is higher than the allowable speed VL and the second high speed V2 which is lower than the allowable speed VL.

  • Patent number: 5839683
Abstract: On the occasion of stopping the tape being run at a high speed, a winding radius of the tape supply reel is detected, and a tape deceleration rate is set in response to the detected winding radius. After the tape running speed is decelerated in the deceleration rate up to a preset speed, VL, at which the tape being run can be stopped without damage, the tape is stopped by a brake means. Thereby, the tape can be driven at a higher speed than the speed, VL, without damage, enabling a reduction of time required for a fast forward/rewind operation.

  • Patent number: 5472972
Abstract: A combination of 3-hydroxy-5-methylisoxazole with an antimicrobial agent has good agricultural fungicidal activity which lasts longer than 3-hydroxy-5-methylisoxazole alone. The dihydrate of the calcium salt of 3-hydroxy-5-methylisoxazole has advantages over the free 3-hydroxy-5-methylisoxazole, other salts and the anhydrous compound.

  • Patent number: 5253127
Abstract: A demagnetizing circuit of a home use video tape recorder is controlled by using means such as a control by a microcomputer or the like so as to execute a demagnetizing operation in a desired tape position interval. Further, by properly controlling an onscreen-display on a monitor display screen or a display on a VTR display tube, the operating efficiency is further improved.

  • Patent number: 5170304
Abstract: A cleaning device for cleaning a rotary magnetic head of a magnetic recording and reproducing device includes a cleaning member which is movable into and out of contact with the rotating magnetic head. The cleaning device is activated through the operation of a manually operable button and under the control of an electronic control device. The cleaning member is automatically brought into contact with the magnetic head to clean the same. The operation of the cleaning device is carried out in association with an operation of a tape loading mechanism of the magnetic recording and reproducing device. The vertical position of the cleaning member is changed when it is contacted with the magnetic head, so that the portion of the cleaning member to be contacted with the magnetic head is changed.
