  • Patent number: 5010421
Abstract: A sound reproducing apparatus converts a sound signal reproduced in a 5 multiple speed reverse reproduction mode into a digital signal by pulses obtained by frequency-multiplying reference sampling pulses by 5 to write the digital signal in a memory 12, and reads out the digital signal by the reference sampling pulses to convert the same to an analog signal. Reading of the signal from memory 12 is performed in response to a read address changed in one direction in a predetermined cycle. Writing of a signal to the memory 12 is performed by using address information changed in the direction opposite to that of the read address signal at a speed five times that of a read address signal as a write address in a cycle corresponding to five-sixth of the cycle of the read address signal and only during a period corresponding to one-sixth of the cycle thereof.

  • Patent number: 4982888
Abstract: An apparatus for attaching fastener elements one at a time to a garment includes a die plate disposed below a punch and having a plurality of dies spaced apart in a first direction. The die plate is slidably movable in the one direction to place the dies successively into alignment with the punch. The die plate is displaceable in a second direction away from the punch in a plane of sliding movement of the die plate. The die plate is pivotally movable in a vertical plane when it is disposed in a position remote from the punch. According to a preferred embodiment, the second direction is perpendicular to the first direction and the die plate is tiltable upwardly as it is displaced in the second direction away from the punch.

  • Patent number: 4658293
Abstract: A scanning conversion method prepares, in order to convert 2:1 interlace scanning video signals formed by (2N+1)/2 lines (N: positive integer) into progressive scanning system video signals, a memory (23) having addresses corresponding to N+1 lines. The address of the memory (23) for N+1 lines are circulated thereby to progressively write the interlace scanning video signals in the addresses while reading the signals from the addresses subjected to the writing at a speed twice that in the writing repeatedly twice.
