  • Patent number: 7401735
Abstract: An automated commodity customer delivery driven method/system to manage commodity sales by acquiring a chance of purchase of a selecting customer as well as another new customer for a relevant commodity by assuring availability of the inventory for both customers of the relevant commodity. The shop inventory for the selecting customer is acquired according to acceptance of a temporary reservation status for requesting acquisition of the inventory of the selected commodity and the inventory in the shop that was acquired for the selecting customer is returned to the number of inventories for selling to the other new customer, based upon a specified method of transferring the selected commodity to the selecting customer.

  • Publication number: 20080121723
Abstract: In a usual state, information concerning all stores where a user is registered as a member (a list of stores where the user is registered as a member) is listed on an electronic paper of a membership card. When the user who carries the membership card enters one store where the user is registered as a member, the membership card recognizes the entering into the store and thereby switches automatically the displayed contents on the electronic paper into information concerning that store. When the user passes through the exit of the store, the displayed contents on the electronic paper is returned to the listing display of all stores. Even a single card has the functions of a large number of cards and is valid to all the stores. This avoids the necessity that the user should carry a large number of cards.

  • Publication number: 20060181013
Abstract: A sheet guide apparatus includes a transfer cylinder, delivery chains, and sheet guide structure. The transfer cylinder holds a sheet. The delivery chains hold the sheet received from the transfer cylinder and conveys the sheet along a first convey path which is at least substantially arcuate. The sheet guide structure guides the sheet conveyed by the delivery chains. The sheet guide structure includes a movable guide member and stationary guide member. The movable guide member is movable between positions close to and spaced apart from the first convey path. The stationary guide member is stationarily arranged at a position spaced apart from the first convey path. When the movable guide member is close to the first convey path, a thin-sheet guide surface having a continuous substantially arcuate section is formed by only the movable guide member.

  • Patent number: 6526887
Abstract: A plate inserting apparatus in a rotary printing press inserts a plate in a leading edge plate clamp of a plate cylinder. The plate inserting apparatus includes a plate holder and actuators. The plate holder holds the plate. The actuators move the plate holder in directions to come close to and separate from the plate cylinder. The plate holder forms a moving track comprised of at least a first straight portion and a curved portion. The first straight portion extends in a direction to insert the plate held by the plate holder into the plate fixing unit. The curved portion is connected to a counter plate cylinder-side end of the first straight portion to change a traveling direction of the plate holder.

  • Patent number: 6431068
Abstract: A plate exchanging apparatus in a rotary printing press, which removes an old plate from a plate fixing unit of a plate cylinder and inserts a new plate includes a plate holder and an actuator. The plate holder holds the new plate. The actuator performs one of moving and swinging operations of the plate holder in directions to come close to and separate from the plate cylinder. The actuator selectively positions the plate holder to a first position where the new plate is held in the plate holder, a second position where the new plate held by the plate holder is retreated from an old plate removal path, and a third position where the new plate is inserted into the plate fixing unit of the plate cylinder.

  • Patent number: 5956263
Abstract: A multiplication, division and square root extraction apparatus which calculates the solutions to addition, division and square root extraction functions by approximation using iteration has a multiplier, an adder-subtracter and a shifter of prescribed bit width connected to a bus. Iteration is conducted by inputting the output of the multiplier to the adder-subtracter or the shifter and returning the result to the input of the multiplier via the bus. A shifter and an arithmetic and logic unit connected to a second bus connected to the aforesaid bus via a switch have a greater bit width than the prescribed bit width and are used for large scale calculations, thus preventing a reduction in processing speed.

  • Patent number: 5383402
Abstract: An apparatus for mounting a plate on a plate cylinder includes a plate lockup device, reference pins, and a lamp. The plate lockup device is provided in a gap formed in the circumference surface of the plate cylinder. The reference pins are electrically rendered conductive by an insertion end of a plate inserted to a gripper surface of the plate lockup device, thereby detecting insertion of the plate. The lamp confirms and indicates insertion of the plate from an output from the reference pins.

  • Patent number: 5320041
Abstract: A plate mounted state confirming apparatus includes reference pins, a transmitting coupler, and a receiving coupler. The reference pins detect contact of an insertion end of a plate inserted in a gripper portion of a plate lockup device provided in a gap formed in an outer circumferential surface of a plate cylinder in an axial direction thereof. The transmitting coupler outputs a detection signal obtained by the reference pins as an electrical signal from a plate cylinder. The receiving coupler receives the electrical signal from the transmitting coupler outside the plate cylinder in a non-contact manner.

  • Patent number: 5125095
Abstract: A microcomputer system has a microprocessor and a number of independent coprocessors for executing individual instructions according to instruction data sent from the microprocessor. An address bus and a data bus interconnect the coprocessors with the microprocessor. The microprocessor sends instruction data to the coprocessors via the data bus and concurrently sends coprocessor designation data to the coprocessors via the address bus. The coprocessor designated by the designation data reads and reacts to the instruction data while the other coprocessors within the system disregard the instruction data.

  • Patent number: 4888721
Abstract: A function arithmetic unit which performs elementary operations at high speeds and which enables required memory capacity to be reduced. The function arithmetic unit includes a constant memory which stores a constant that corresponds to the number of successive iterative operations; a controller which causes addition or subtraction in the successive iterative operations; and arithmetic units which receive, as initial values, an argument of an elementary function value to be found and two constants determined depending upon the elementary functions to be found, and which subject these initial values to n iterative operations to produce elementary function values. A further arithmetic unit subjects the elementary function values to multiplication, addition, subtraction, or division, or a combination thereof, thereby to produce the thus obtained value.

  • Patent number: 4736324
Abstract: The optimum control conditions for a plurality of looms are simply estimated with the use of a trial loom. Hereby, the plurality of looms are operated under a centralized control method. The looms, even if they vary in their respective characteristics, can be effectively operated by correcting standard control data for controlling the looms in response to variations of the loom characteristics. The present centralized control method can save much labor and time to improve productivity of the looms, by properly eliminating elaborate trial weaving processes.
