  • Patent number: 8034506
Abstract: A fuel gas flow field is formed on a surface of a rectangular first metal separator. The fuel gas flow field includes flow grooves extending in the direction of gravity. An outlet buffer is provided at a lower end of the fuel gas flow field. The outlet buffer includes an inclined surface inclined toward a fuel gas discharge passage. The fuel gas discharge passage is positioned below the outlet buffer. Outlet channel grooves are formed by ridges provided between the fuel gas discharge passage and the outlet buffer. Lower ends of the ridges are arranged in a zigzag pattern.

  • Patent number: 6015582
Abstract: A water absorbing article and method of using the same are provided in order to remove drip accumulated at the interface of a food and an water absorbing article and to prevent foods from quality degradation. The water absorbing article comprises a water absorbing sheet comprising at least three layers; a liquid permeable layer made of paper or pulp, a water absorbing layer made of paper or pulp containing water absorbing particles, and a liquid-in permeable layer inserted in between the liquid permeable layer and the water absorbing layer, and the water absorbing sheet is inserted in a bag made of a liquid permeable sheet. The object is attained by placing a food on a liquid permeable layer of the thus-formed water absorbing article and subsequently the whole is vacuum packed.

  • Patent number: 4850533
Abstract: The present invention relates to a telescopic drinking straw or double sucking tube in which a synthetic resin tube section having a smaller diameter is inserted into a synthetic resin tube section having a larger diameter. In the sucking tube, a flange which is in tight contact with the inner surface of the larger tube section is formed on the smaller tube section, while a convex portion supporting the smaller tube section is formed on the inside of the larger tube section. Both the larger and smaller tube sections are produced from materials having different compositions from one another, so that leakage of fluid from a joint portion of the larger and smaller tube sections as well as shaky motion of the smaller tube section are prevented by these arrangements.
