  • Patent number: 10690048
Abstract: A jig (31) is placed on a cylinder block (11) set in an inverted position, and a crankshaft (5) is lifted upward from a main bearing part (17) and held at a predetermined height position. A lower link (7) temporarily fitted to a crank pin (6) in the previous step is rotated about the crank pin (6) as a center by a robot hand, and held in a predetermined inclined position in which a dividing surface (28) becomes vertical. In this state, a pair of bolts (29) is horizontally fastened from the right and the left by using a nut runner (55).

  • Patent number: 4533027
Abstract: A friction brake assembly for stopping the transmission of motion between drive and driven shafts comprising a brake drum, a coiled braking spring having several turns adapted to frictionally contact the inner peripheral surface of the brake drum to exert a braking force, an operating member rigidly mounted on the drive shaft within the brake drum, a hanger member rigidly mounted on the driven shaft within the brake drum, and a pair of guide members for controlling the braking spring according to the rotation of the drive shaft to allow the braking spring to be released from the condition in which it exerts the braking force.

  • Patent number: 4401344
Abstract: A seat back reclining mechanism including a stationary bracket secured to the seat bottom and a movable bracket secured to the seat back, the stationary and movable brackets being connected together for pivotable movement about a pivot axis. The movable bracket is formed with a series of indentations formed along an arc having a center on the pivot axis. The stationary bracket has a first and second locking lever respectively carrying a first and second locking pins which alternately engage selected ones of the indentations. Each of the locking levers is so oriented that when the locking pin on the lever is engaged with the indentation, the lever is directed substantially tangentially with respect to the arc along which said indentations are formed.

  • Patent number: 4234153
Abstract: Device for mounting a mirror on an automobile panel. The mirror is supported on one end of a stay, the other end of the stay being seated on a seat disc attached to the panel. Beneath the seat disc, there is a support plate which is also attached to the panel. A holding lever is removably connected at one end to the other end of the stay and extends through the seat disc, the support plate and the panel. A coil spring is provided to bias the stay downwards so that the stay is held on the seat disc. The arrangement is such that all parts of the device can be assembled totally from one side of the panel.
