  • Patent number: 8047020
Abstract: The method of producing a vitreous silica crucible, comprises deposition step of depositing silica powder on an inner wall surface of a cylindrical rotation mold having a bottom while rotating the mold; and a fusion step to obtain a vitreous silica crucible by heating and fusing the silica powder deposited on the inner wall surface of the mold and thereby vitrifying the silica powder. In the deposition step, a density of the deposited silica powder layer on the inner wall surface of the mold is controlled within a predetermined range by controlling the electrostatic charging voltage of the silica powder to be in a range of 1.0 kV or less in absolute value, and supplying the thus controlled silica powder to the inner wall surface of the mold. Thus, a wall thickness of the vitreous silica crucible is controlled.

  • Publication number: 20110100582
Abstract: A gas pressure controlled casting mold is disclosed having a hot-top introducing a molten metal of aluminum or aluminum alloy, and a mold body which passes the molten metal of aluminum or aluminum alloy introduced from the hot-top through a molten metal passage portion for cooling and solidification and semi-continuously or continuously casting a billet of aluminum or aluminum alloy. A wall surface of the molten metal passage portion of the mold body is provided with a plurality of lubricating oil blow-out holes for blowing out a lubricating oil. A lubricating oil supply passage is communicatively connected to each lubricating oil blow-out hole and is independently formed at least in a range of a heat affected portion in the mold body. This allows the mold body to be reliably cooled regardless of the difference in the temperature and casting speed conditions and thus can achieve favorable continuous casting.

  • Publication number: 20110096967
Abstract: Optical waveguide paths to observe a sample on a sample holder from a plurality of directions while guiding an image of light in each direction which is emitted out of the sample toward a direction of a two dimensional detector via a main imaging lens include an optical waveguide path which never receives the light directly from the sample. The optical waveguide path which never receives the light directly from the sample forms an image of the sample within a substantial focus range of the main imaging lens, and includes optical elements arranged such that a light beam after formation of the image proceeds toward a direction of the main imaging lens. Optical elements on at least one optical waveguide path are those for forming real images. Therefore, the main imaging lens images the sample and those real images in block on the two dimensional detector.

  • Publication number: 20110016418
Abstract: [PROBLEMS TO BE SOLVED] It is an object to expand the functions of web applications, so that labor or the like to directly use a method for an operating system can be reduced. [MEANS FOR SOLVING THE PROBLEMS] A processing means of a terminal device includes a memory means for storing an HTML object and drag information in relation to each other and drag information in relation to a certain HTML object is read out from the memory means (S35) in the case that the HTML object is moved from the inside of an HTTP client display area to the outside. The processing means of the terminal device makes out and registers a drag object for the operating system based on the read out drag information (S40, S45). The processing means of the terminal device receives real data corresponding to the drag object from an outer information providing system to store the same at the memory means of the terminal device.
