  • Patent number: 8033086
Abstract: A lawn mower is provided with a lawn mowing mechanism, a grass collection box receiving grass mowed by the lawn mowing mechanism, a lift mechanism for lifting the grass collection box high, and a rear lid plate structured such as to openably close an opening in the rear surface of the grass collection box wherein an improvement is achieved in the stability of a support at a time of lifting up the grass collection box high in the case of discharging the mowed grass in the grass collection box in a state of lifting up the grass collection box high, and also achieves a downsizing and a weight saving. A bottom portion of the grass collection box is opened, the opened bottom portion being operably closed by a bottom lid plate, and the mowed grass is discharged from the grass collection box by an opening actuation of the bottom lid plate and the rear lid plate.

Abstract: In a lawn mower provided with a lawn mowing mechanism (13), a grass collection box (18) receiving grass mowed by the lawn mowing mechanism, a lift mechanism (19) for lifting up the grass collection box (18) high, and a rear lid plate (21) structured such as to openably close an opening in a rear surface of the grass collection box (18), the invention achieves an improvement of a stability of a support at a time of lifting up the grass collection box (18) high in the case of discharging the mowed grass in the grass collection box (18) in a state of lifting up the grass collection box (18) high, and also achieves a downsizing and a weight saving. A bottom portion of the grass collection box (18) is opened, the opened bottom portion is openably closed by a bottom lid plate (20), and the mowed grass is discharged from the grass collection box (18) by an opening actuation of the bottom lid plate (20) and the rear lid plate (21).

  • Patent number: 6121597
Abstract: This invention provides a packaging bag for a microwave oven capable of allowing vapor generatetd during microwave heating to escape surely, which comprises a bag body comprising an upper side sheet portion and an underside sheet portion and an upper fin seal portion formed on the upper side sheet portion formed on the upper side sheet portion, wherein said upper fin seal portion is formed of heat-sealed laminated films comprising an inner layer film and an outer layer film, and wherein said upper fin seal portion comprises a non-sealed portion connecting with a container portion of the bag body, a projected portion projected from an inside end of a heat-scaled portion, and a weakly joined portion having a peel strength of 0.1 to 15 g/15 mm width formed between the inner layer film and the outer layer film at least surrounding the projected portion and connected with an outside end of the upper fin seal portion.

  • Patent number: 5266262
Abstract: A method for forming a large thickness flange at an end of a blow molding tube by injection molding using a die assembly. The blow molding tube is sufficiently cooled down before insertion into injection molding dies. The sizes and dimensions of tube holding portions of the injection molding die assembly, which hold the blow molding tube at a portion adjacent to the end, and those of a mating injection molding mandrel are set in conformity to its size and dimension of the blow molding tube after thermal shrinkage thereof caused by cooling of the tube. Thus, any gap between the blow molding tube and injection molding die assembly is eliminated, so that any leakage of molten resin through such a gap between the contact surfaces of the blow molding tube and those of the injection molding dies and mandrel can be perfectly prevented during the injection molding step. For instance, the method is useful for producing an intake manifold used in an automotive engine room.

  • Patent number: 5155678
Abstract: A method for maintaining switchover between a backup and degrading active processor, which switchover is transparent to a terminal accessing the active processor with atomic transactions. The backup processor prepares for an outage by the active processor by synchronizing, tracking, and monitoring the active processor's log entries. When the active processor fails, the backup processor performs the necessary recovery processing and takes over user-transactions processing as the new active processor.

  • Patent number: 4805755
Abstract: A synchronizer for transmissions, wherein the surfaces of the recesses, in which the locking claws of an outside ring are fitted, that are formed in a synchromesh cone so as to extend in the circumferential direction thereof are tapered, whereby thrust toward a clutch hub is generated in the outside ring during a synchronizing operation. The outside ring lightly contacts a block ring before a shifting operation is started. One side surface of the outside ring can be brought into close contact with a side surface of the clutch hub by a thrusting action of the outside ring.

  • Patent number: 4751702
Abstract: A method is disclosed for maintaining availability of a restartable data base system where continuity of service is guaranteed by having a loosely-coupled backup processor taking over processing of a degraded active processor. The backup processor continuously tracks the activities of the active processor to ascertain data set elements updatable by the active processor. Upon switchover, images of data set elements updatable by the degraded active processor are created in the buffer of the backup processor. By making references and updates to the images, processing of the backup processor can start immediately after switchover. Upon preventing the degraded active processor from making further updates, the backup processor writes the images back to the data base.
