    Abstract: A mobile communications system is provided that automatically restricts a portable communications terminal which conducts communications at places such as hospitals where the uses of portable communications terminals are prohibited. A mobile communications system, which controls mobile communications of user terminals, includes a use prohibition area registration table, a location information management table, and a terminal location manager. The use prohibition area registration table records location data about locations within a use prohibition area where communications of the user terminal is not allowed. The location information management table records data about a current location of each user terminal, informed from the user terminal.
