  • Publication number: 20100286631
Abstract: A moisturizing pad has a heat generating element sandwiched between first and second surface sheets. The heat generating element contains metal powders, salt, water and water retaining materials adapted to generate oxidation heat and thereby to convert the water to moisture vapor as the element is supplied with oxygen through an air-permeable first surface sheet. The salt and water are provided in a form of saline solution having a salt concentration of 18-22% by weight and the heat generating element is impregnated with such a saline solution in a range of 17.5 to 26% by weight of the element.

  • Patent number: 7703602
Abstract: An easy-open encasement formed of a soft encasement member in the form of a film. An opening or an openable portion is formed in the soft encasement member, which allows a user to extract contents from the encasement. Furthermore, a lid member, which can be peelably adhered to the soft encasement member, is adhered to the surface of the soft encasement member such that it covers the opening or openable portion. With such a structure, a tab is provided at a part of the perimeter of the lid member, which serves as a starting point that allows the user to peel off the lid member. Furthermore, the tab includes a hinge portion, which allows the user to raise the tab, or a flap elevated from the surface of the encasement.

  • Publication number: 20070095709
Abstract: The present invention provides an easy-open encasement 100 formed of a soft encasement member in the form of a film. An opening or an openable portion 150 is formed in the soft encasement member, which allows a user to extract contents from the encasement. Furthermore, a lid member 200, which can be peelably adhered to the soft encasement member, is adhered to the surface of the soft encasement member such that it covers the opening or openable portion 150. With such a structure, a tab 210 is provided at a part of the perimeter of the lid member 200, which serves as a starting point that allows the user to peel off the lid member 200. Furthermore, the tab 210 includes a hinge portion 212, which allows the user to raise said tab 210, or a flap elevated from the surface of the encasement.

  • Patent number: 7081559
Abstract: An absorbent composite sheet is thin and has a surface to be easily situated in dry condition. The absorbent composite sheet includes at least a first layer and a second layer. The first layer placed on the side of receiving a liquid is a non-woven fabric fabricated from thermoplastic synthetic resin fibers. The second layer stacked below the first layer is a non-woven fabric fabricated by entangling cellulose type fibers and thermoplastic synthetic resin fibers. The first layer and the second layer are joined by fuse bonding synthetic resin fibers of the first layer and synthetic resin fibers of the second layer. The liquid applied on a surface of the first layer is transferred to the second layer through gaps between synthetic resin fibers of the first layer.

  • Patent number: 7036503
Abstract: A humidifier having a heat-generating composition for generating steam is disclosed. The humidifier is permitted to fit the face, keeping the humidity high at a space between the face and the humidifier for many hours. A central non heat-generating belt, which functions as a flexible belt, is provided between inner heat-generating regions containing heat-generating composition. Lateral non heat-generating belts, which function as a flexible belt, are provided between the inner heat-generating regions and outer heat-generating regions. The humidifier fits the face by deforming the flexible belts. Thus, the face is kept moisturized by steam discharged from the inner heat-generating regions and the outer heat-generating regions.
