  • Publication number: 20030140104
Abstract: When a server receives an information designating image from a communication terminal connected to a server through a network, it sends a URL identifying the storage location of the image to the communication terminal. When the communication terminal receives the URL, it loads the URL into an email and transmits the email to another communication terminal. When the communication terminal that received this email finds out that the URL integrated in the email identifies the storage location of the image, it downloads the image from the server and displays it along with the email by using the URL.

  • Patent number: 6421210
Abstract: A direct driving motor for a videotape deck, in which a motor shaft is directly coupled to the capstan axis, and which is controlled by a PWM control, has a constitution in which a stator core and a deck chassis or a head cylinder are electrically insulated with each other. Also, the motor includes a bearing holder for holding a motor PCB (printed circuit board) one end of which is supported on the deck chassis in an insulating state. This constitution prevents current switching noise generating in the motor from propagating into the deck chassis, thereby suppressing video screen noise and audio noise, and also provides a measure for suppressing motor vibration.

  • Patent number: 6340201
Abstract: A construction machine adapted to suppress transmission of vibrations from a main frame to a cab. The cab is supported on a bed frame by anti-vibrational mounts, each provided with a laminated rubber body having relatively high rigidity against vibrations in vertical directions and relatively small rigidity against vibrations in horizontal directions. A floor panel of the cab is connected to the bed frame by horizontally mounted oil dampers constituting vibration attenuators. Consequently, when the bed frame is vibrated, the cab undergoes horizontal parallel movements due to flexure of the laminated rubber bodies, thereby preventing occurrences of pitching, rolling and yawing vibrations. Even if residual vibrations occur on the cab due to the resilient restoring force of the laminated rubber bodies, such residual vibrations can be attenuated by the oil dampers, thereby preventing the phenomenon of resonance which might otherwise result from the residual vibrations and to improve the amenity within the cab.

  • Patent number: 6033043
Abstract: This invention is to suppress repeated striking noises as generated by a crawler belt (29) when taken up onto a drive sprocket (25) in a polygonally bent shape. A crawler belt support block (34) is fixedly mounted on top of an upper reinforcing plate (19) of a bracket (15) on the side of the drive sprocket. The crawler belt support block (34) includes a skid block (36) with a crawler belt sliding surface (36B) to be held in sliding contact with lower surfaces of respective links (30) of the crawler belt (29) to guide same in a direction tangential of the drive sprocket (25) when the crawler belt (29) is taken up onto the drive sprocket (25). The crawler belt support block suppresses vertical movements as would occur to the crawler belt (29) when taken up onto the drive sprocket (25) in a polygonally bent shape, to reduce the repeated striking noises generated by meshing engagement of bushes (32) of the crawler belt (29) and the drive sprocket (25).

  • Patent number: 5984036
Abstract: A rear side of an operator's cabin body is resiliently supported by a rubber mount, and a front side of the operator's cabin body is resiliently supported by a spring mount, of which a spring constant is set to be smaller than that of the rubber mount. Accordingly, a vibration transmissibility of pitching transmitted from a revolving frame to the operator's cabin body can be kept small, and pitching is damped by an oil damper which constitutes the rubber mount. Further, bounce and rolling transmitted to the operator's cabin body are converted into pitching for attenuation of vibration.

  • Patent number: 4460939
Abstract: A device for providing a line of illumination in an optical reader, comprises an internally reflecting body having an elliptical reflecting surface joined to a part-cylindrical reflecting surface. A light source is disposed on one focal line of the elliptical surface, and a plate-like light guide has its light-receiving end disposed on the other focal line of the elliptical surface. One of the two focal lines of the elliptical surface is also the center of curvature of the part-cylindrical surface. The internal reflection and re-reflection of the light in the light guide ensures that the line of light emerging from the exit end of the light guide will be of uniform intensity throughout its length.
