  • Patent number: 10436402
Abstract: A vehicle headlamp includes a surface light source and a reflector that forms a low beam light distribution pattern having an oblique cut-off line and a horizontal cut-off line. The surface light source is provided in a perpendicular direction with respect to an optical axis of the reflector, and the reflector forms a hot zone of the light distribution pattern by first areas with a great disposition angle and second areas with a small disposition angle where a light source image of the surface light source becomes narrow and small.

  • Patent number: 10054277
Abstract: A vehicle lamp is configured to be able to selectively perform low-beam irradiation and high-beam irradiation. The vehicle lamp includes first and second light-emitting elements and a reflector for reflecting light emitted from these first and second light-emitting elements toward a front. A reflecting surface of the reflector has a first reflection region on which light emitted from the first light-emitting element is incident and a second reflection region on which light emitted from the first light-emitting element is not incident but light emitted from the second light-emitting element is incident. A low-beam light distribution pattern having horizontal and oblique cutoff lines is formed by turning on the first light-emitting element. A high-beam light distribution pattern is formed by turning on the second light-emitting element or simultaneously turning on the first and second light-emitting elements.

  • Patent number: 6386745
Abstract: A vehicle lamp fixture in which a reflector is housed in a lamp body, a transparent front lens is attached to the lamp body, and a non-transparent treatment is applied to a region near a seal leg of a front lens. The non-transparent treatment is done by forming a plurality of convex cylindrical lens elements in a striped pattern on the entire region of the outer peripheral side and on a predetermined region of the inner peripheral side of the seal leg of the rear and/or front surface of the front lens, thus preventing a gap between the reflector and the lamp body from appearing dark when viewing the lamp fixture from the front and also preventing a seal groove of the lamp body from being directly seen.
