  • Publication number: 20150085825
Abstract: According to an embodiment, a communication apparatus includes a first wireless communicator, a storage, and a controller. The first wireless communicator establishes a wireless connection to a network. The storage stores therein data. The controller causes the first wireless communicator to establish a connection to the network when a determination value satisfies a connection condition. The determination value is characterized by at least one of operating conditions, positional information, communication conditions, and communication quality of the communication apparatus. The controller causes the first wireless communicator to obtain information through the network and store the information in the storage or further transmit the information stored in the storage through the network when the determination value satisfies an obtaining condition. The controller disconnects the connection between the first wireless communicator and the network when the determination value satisfies a disconnection condition.

  • Publication number: 20150089264
Abstract: There is provided a processing apparatus, including: first and second processors; a first storage which data read or data write is done by one or more fixed-size blocks, data in each block having a sequential address; and a controller to control operation of at least one of the first and the second processors. One of the processors writes, to the first storage, first to N-th data pieces so that an ending address of an X-th data piece and a starting address of an X+1-th data piece are sequential. The controller sets the other processor in a low power consumption mode during at least a part of a period in which the one processor performs writing to the storage, and after that, the controller sets the other processor in a normal or active operating mode in which the other processor is capable of reading the data pieces from the first storage.

  • Patent number: 8711869
Abstract: A packet processor transfers a message received by a first (second) port to a second (first) port. When first specific information is included in the received message, a QoS terminal detector detects a communication terminal, which is a sender of the message received by the first port or a destination of the message received by the second port, as a QoS terminal requesting application of QoS. When the QoS terminal does not satisfy a preset connection condition associated with the QoS terminal connectable to the first port via a first network, an output unit outputs information indicating that the connection condition is not satisfied.
