  • Publication number: 20170107595
Abstract: The purpose of the present invention is to provide a solution for use in the extraction of cobalt, whereby it becomes possible to extract cobalt at lower cost and more safely compared with a case in which a conventional one is used. The solution for use in the extraction of cobalt according to the present invention comprises: an ionic liquid containing a quaternary ammonium group; and an organic solvent which exists in such a state that the organic solvent is mixed with the ionic liquid and which has a kauri-butanol value of 60 or more.

  • Patent number: 4980211
Abstract: An article of polyethylene terephthalate resin, particularly a laminated wall structure of a bottle made by biaxial orientation blow molding from the resin. The laminated wall is made up of polyethylene terephthalate resin and a synthetic resin material having good gas barrier properties.

  • Patent number: 4877141
Abstract: A pressure resistant bottle-shaped container having a body including panels surrounded by outer sheaths, characterized in that each panel has stress absorbing strips comprising vertexes recessed from the outer surface of the panel toward the interior of the container and bending lines formed in V shape and inverted V shape from the vertexes toward the outer sheaths. Thus, the container does not retain permanent deformation by the deformations resulting from pressure changes at the time of filling high temperature liquid content.

  • Patent number: 4496517
Abstract: This invention relates to process for preparing saturated polyester resin bottles, that the residual strain of the bottles is reduced and the deforming temperature is elevated. The process is that a heated intermediate material (1) made of a saturated polyester resin is set in a mold (5), then compressed air is blown in the intermediate material (1) to orient the same biaxially, temperature in thus shaped bottle is elevated to a temperature higher than the heating temperature of the intermediate material (1) under the elevated pressure to effect thermal fixing and thereafter the saturated polyester resin bottle (19) is taken out.

  • Patent number: 3958721
Abstract: A collapsable tube of synthetic resin materials and adapted to prevent oxidization of the substance contained therein. The body of the tube is constructed of a laminated sheet which, in one embodiment, comprises a polyethylene film an oriented polypropylene film, a polyvinyl alcohol film and a polyethylene film in the order named. Due to the provision of the polyvinyl alcohol film the sheet has an extremely low permeability to oxygen gas and odour and is highly resistant to oil. The oriented polypropylene film provides for the sheet increased rigidity as well as improved printability. A non-return valve is provided at the tube orifice in order to prevent the entrance of air thereinto thus causing substantially no oxidization of the substance contained.

  • Patent number: 3936334
Abstract: A process for forming a collapsable tube having a flexible inner tube and a resilient outer tube. A shoulder member is formed having connecting surfaces. A flexible inner tube is joined to the shoulder member at a connecting surface. An outer tube encompassing the inner tube is joined to the shoulder member at a separate connecting surface so that the outer tube overlaps the joint between the inner tube and shoulder member. To resist permeation, the inner tube is formed by lap welding a laminated sheet of different natured materials and depositing a molten material along an edge of the sheet to seal it.
