Abstract: Individual distributed processing nodes packetize distributed data for each weight of a neural network of a learning object in an order of a number of the weight, transmit the distributed data to an aggregation processing node, acquire aggregation data transmitted from the node in order, and update the weight of the neural network. The node acquires the transmitted distributed data, packetizes the aggregation data for which the distributed data of all the distributed processing nodes is aggregated for each weight, and transmits the aggregation data to the individual nodes. The individual nodes monitor an unreceived data amount which is a difference between data amounts of the transmitted distributed data and the acquired aggregation data, and when the unreceived data amount becomes equal to or larger than a threshold Ma, stops transmission of the distributed data until the unreceived data amount becomes equal to or smaller than a threshold Mb (Mb<Ma).
Abstract: A distributed deep learning system that can achieve speeding-up by processing learning in parallel at a large number of learning nodes connected with a communication network and perform faster cooperative processing among the learning nodes connected through the communication network is provided. The distributed deep learning system includes: a plurality of computing interconnect devices 1 connected with each other through a ring communication network 3 through which communication is possible in one direction; and a plurality of learning nodes 2 connected with the respective computing interconnect devices 1 in a one-to-one relation, and each computing interconnect device 1 executes communication packet transmission-reception processing between the learning nodes 2 and All-reduce processing simultaneously in parallel.
Abstract: A method for producing an optical wavelength conversion member (9) composed of a sintered body containing, as main components, Al2O3 and a component represented by formula A3B5O12:Ce; an optical wavelength conversion member; an optical wavelength conversion component including the optical wavelength conversion member; and a light-emitting device including the optical wavelength conversion member or the optical wavelength conversion component. The production method of the sintered body includes firing in a firing atmosphere having a pressure of 104 Pa or more and an oxygen concentration of 0.8 vol. % or more and less than 25 vol. %.
Abstract: A light source device includes a semiconductor light source that radiates light at a light quantity according to an applied current, a circuit that determines a current instruction value based on control information, first and second drive units, each of the units that is connected to the semiconductor light source and the circuit, and is capable of outputting, to the semiconductor light source, a current having magnitude corresponding to the current instruction value. The control information is set based on brightness of an image captured by an imaging element. When one of the first and second drive units is switched to the other, the circuit causes the other to start the current output after an elapse of a predetermined stop time period having a length at a predetermined ratio or less to a frame rate on the imaging element since a stop of the current output from the one.
Abstract: A rotation angle sensor includes a sensor integrated circuit attached to an attachment member. The attachment member includes a connecting terminal protruding upward from an attachment surface and a guide protruding upward from the attachment surface and positions, together with the connecting terminal, the sensor integrated circuit at an attachment position. The sensor integrated circuit includes a lead frame on which an electronic circuit is mounted and an exterior covering the electronic circuit. The lead frame includes a lead and an extending portion located in an outer periphery of the exterior. At least one of the lead and the extending portion has an elastic structure. The sensor integrated circuit is attached to the attachment member by an elastic force of the elastic structure that biases the extending portion against the guide and that joins the lead to the connecting terminal.
Abstract: A steering control apparatus for a marine vessel that is able to automatically reduce chine walk includes a processor to obtain behavior information on a hull, including one or more of a behavior relating to a shift of the hull in a roll direction, a shift of the hull in a yaw direction, a shift of the hull in crosswise direction, a steering load, and a helm operation load. When judging that one or more conditions to change a steering mode to a counter steering mode are satisfied, the processor changes the steering mode to the counter steering mode. In the counter steering mode, the processor controls steering of the marine vessel by performing counter steering so as to reduce at least some of one or more of the behaviors of the hull based on the obtained behavior information.

Abstract: A seating posture is stabilized for the shoulders of a passenger seated on a vehicle seat. A vehicle seat is provided with a seat back configured to support the seated person from the rear. A shoulder support portion of the seat back configured to support a corresponding one of the shoulders of the seated passenger includes an air cell configured to expand when air is supplied. When the air cell expands, one end portion of the shoulder support portion on the outside in the width direction of the vehicle seat moves more forward than the other end portion of the shoulder support portion on the inside in the width direction.
Abstract: An endoscope apparatus includes: an imaging device; a light source device; an illumination light control circuit; a first processing circuit; and a second processing circuit. The light source device emits first support illumination light in a first time period. The first processing circuit acquires a first support image obtained with the first support illumination light. The second processing circuit extracts first diagnosis support information on the basis of the first support image. The other vehicle collision risk determination region is the collision risk determination region of the other vehicle as a collision risk determination target with the host vehicle set by the other vehicle.

Abstract: According to one embodiment, a sheet conveying device includes a placement tray, a presence detection sensor, and a control unit. The placement tray places a sheet thereon. The presence detection sensor detects the presence or absence of the sheet on the placement tray. The control unit delays a determination timing of the presence or absence of the sheet placed on the placement tray to a predetermined timing when a condition indicating that the remaining sheets placed on the placement tray are only a few is satisfied.
