  • Patent number: 7754411
Abstract: The present invention provides a slip sheet that protects a planographic printing plate in which the coefficient of static friction between corresponding surfaces of the slip sheet that contact an image-forming surface of the planographic printing plate is 0.35 or less, the surface strength of the slip sheet is 15 or more, or the Clark stiffness of the slip sheet is 20 to 50. In a production process of the planographic printing plate, the image-forming surface and the slip sheet are adhered by suitably charging, and following their lamination, the charge rapidly dissipates resulting in favorable separation, discharge characteristics and storage characteristics in an automatic plate feeder. In addition, sticking between the slip sheet and the image-forming surface during heat treatment can also be prevented simultaneously. This slip sheet is particularly effective for planographic printing plates of the heat mode type and photon mode type on which images are formed by exposure to laser light.

  • Publication number: 20090257760
Abstract: A control apparatus which makes it possible to realize a configuration for processing a plurality of print jobs efficiently without waste while meeting needs for performing a glossing process on prints. When a sheet printed in a first process is fed from a sheet feeder, the printing apparatus executes a second printing process for processing the fed sheet. When an interrupting factor occurs during execution of the second printing process to cause interruption of the processing, the interrupted processing is resumed on condition that the interrupting factor is removed. A resuming method of resuming the processing is determined based on contents of the processing in the second process.

  • Patent number: 7603590
Abstract: An information processing apparatus which is capable of notifying a management server of only necessary information for the management server to perform its proper maintenance function, as information on the maintenance of an image forming apparatus after recovery of the management server, to thereby avoid the management server from performing processing more than necessary. A device information transmission and retransmission schedule controller transmits maintenance information including status information and cumulative counter information on an image forming apparatus to an information collecting server. A retransmission data storage section stores the status information and the cumulative counter information. Upon recovery from failure in communication with the server, the schedule controller transmits the status information collected in a plurality of timings and part of the cumulative counter information collected in a plurality of timings to the server.

  • Publication number: 20090240410
Abstract: When a shift lever is shifted from an N range to a D range and a predetermined learning condition is established, a learning timer tm_pulse up to a point at which a pulse signal is detected by a primary pulley rotation speed sensor is calculated, and when a deviation between the learning timer tm_pulse and a reference correction amount ?P_offset is larger than a predetermined threshold ?t_pulse_dif, a learned correction amount P_offset is updated.

  • Patent number: 7247114
Abstract: A forward/reverse change-over mechanism (3) of an automatic transmission comprises a forward clutch (5) inside a drum (7) with the base (7c) which rotates together with an input shaft (1). The forward clutch (5) engages by driving a piston (9) housed in the drum (7) by the oil pressure of an oil chamber (10) between a base (7c) and the piston (9). Projecting bearings (16) which seat the piston (9) are formed by press-forming at equal angular intervals concentrically with the axial center of the drum (7) in the base (7c). By installing a sensor body (18) which responds to the passage of depressions (17) formed underneath the bearings (16), the forward/reverse change-over mechanism (3) can be made compact and manufactured with a small number of parts and machining steps.

  • Patent number: 5686231
Abstract: Waste developer used for the development of pigment-containing non-silver-salt photosensitive materials is disposed of by filtering through a filter which does not allow pigment particles to pass through and allows the waste developer solution to be treated to flow horizontally to the surface of the filter membrane. The solution which passed through the fiber membrane is reused as a developer. This process greatly decreases discharge of waste developer allows a long-time stabilized continuous developing process.
