    Abstract: A sample stored in a reservoir is introduced into a flow chamber having a pair of panel electrodes interposed by an insulating flat plate spacer having an opening. After electro-fusion is completed or while electro-transfection is being conducted by the application of a suitable voltage between the panel electrodes, fused cells or cells that have been transfected with nucleic acids are discharged out of the flow chamber, and the sample in the reservoir is simultaneously introduced into the flow chamber. This cycle of operations is repeated.
