  • Publication number: 20070205711
Abstract: An object of the present invention is to provide a light emitting device which emits light of deep yellowish color with high luminance. The light emitting device of the present invention comprises a light emitting element having a peak emission wavelength shorter than 490 nm, a fluorescent material for wavelength conversion which absorbs light from the light emitting element and emits light of a wavelength longer than that of the light from the light emitting element, and a filter which cuts off a part of a mixed light produced by mixing the light of the light emitting element and the light of the fluorescent material, wherein the light transmitted through the filter has a chromaticity coordinate on the chromaticity diagram according to CIE 1931 plotted in a region defined by a first point (x=0.450, y=0.450), a second point (x=0.250, y=0.650), a third point (x=0.350, y=0.750) and a fourth point (x=0.250, y=0.

  • Publication number: 20070163175
Abstract: A structure of a microreactor includes a joined body having a pair of substrates joined together, a flow path formed by a microchannel portion formed on a joining surface of at least one of the substrates, and a catalyst carrying member disposed in the flow path. In the production of such a microreactor, the catalyst carrying member is produced separately from formation of the joined body and the catalyst carrying member is disposed in the flow path at the time of forming the joined body.

  • Publication number: 20060051260
Abstract: A microreactor is configured to have a metal substrate having a microchannel portion on one surface thereof, a heater provided on the other surface of the metal substrate via an insulating film, a catalyst supported on the microchannel portion, and a cover member having a feed material inlet and a gas outlet and joined to the metal substrate so as to cover the microchannel portion. Since the microreactor uses the metal substrate having a high thermal conductivity and a small heat capacity, the efficiency of heat conduction from the heater to the supported catalyst becomes high, and the processing of the metal substrate is easy to facilitate the production.

  • Patent number: 6824630
Abstract: A flexible flat cable connecting method includes stripping an insulation coating (5) surface of a flexible flat cable (1) to be connected with a busbar (2) to expose a conductive element (4). The method continues by introducing the flexible flat cable (1) and the busbar (2) between a horn (7) and an anvil (6) of an ultrasonic welding machine (3), and then transmitting an ultrasonic vibration to the horn (7). The horn (7) has a plurality of elongated projections (9) of tapered cross-section pressed in contact with the insulation coating (5) of the flexible flat cable (1).

The horn (7) has a plurality of elongated projections (9) of tapered cross-section pressed in contact with the insulation coating (5) of the flexible flat cable (1). Thus, the elongated projections (9) bite into the insulation coating (5) to weld the conductive element (4) ultrasonically to the busbar (2).
