  • Patent number: 9170733
Abstract: An information processing apparatus includes a display, a detector, a display controller, a display region changing unit, and an editing execution unit. The detector detects plural touches made by an indicator on a screen of the display. The display controller causes the screen to display a first element and a second element, the second element being arranged on the first element. The display region changing unit changes, if a predetermined type of change occurs in a touch position of the indicator, a display region in which the first element and the second element are displayed on the screen, in accordance with the change. The editing execution unit executes, after a first touch position and a second touch position have been detected, if a predetermined type of change occurs in the second touch position with the first touch position being maintained, editing associated with the change on the second element.

  • Publication number: 20140157118
Abstract: An information processing apparatus includes a display, a detector, a display controller, a bookmark-information generation unit, and a switch command generation unit. The detector detects a touch of a finger on a screen of the display. The display controller makes a page image be displayed on the screen and executes, upon receiving a switch command, switch processing in which switching to another page image is performed. The bookmark-information generation unit generates, in a case where the switch processing is executed in a state in which a touch of the finger is being detected on a page image on the screen, bookmark information that includes identification information of the page image. The switch command generation unit generates a switch command used to perform switching to a page image specified by the bookmark information in a case where the touch of the finger is no longer detected.

  • Patent number: 7076096
Abstract: Disclosed is an image processing device capable of recognizing a specific image such as an image which is prohibited from printing at high speed and, moreover, without being influenced by an image forming process. A drawing command analysis unit analyzes a drawing command received by a drawing command input unit and sends an analysis result to both an output image data generation unit and a recognition image data generation unit. The output image data generation unit generates output image data adapted to an image formation device in accordance with the drawing command. In parallel with the operation, the recognition image data generation unit generates recognition image data adapted to a recognition unit in accordance with the drawing command. The recognition unit performs a process of recognizing a specific image by using the recognition image data.

  • Patent number: 7065259
Abstract: The present invention provides an image processor and an image processing method wherein a specific image such as an image of which the printing is prohibited can be recognized at high speed and in addition, with high precision. A rendering command analysis unit passes a rendering object to any of a recognition unit for a raster image, a recognition unit for graphics and a recognition unit for a character according to the type of the rendering object in the rendering command and tries to recognize a specific image. The result of recognition by each recognition unit is passed to a recognition determination unit and it is synthetically determined based upon these results of recognition whether the specific image exists or not. Even if the specific image is formed by dividing into plural types of rendering objects, the specific image can be recognized by such recognition processing.

  • Patent number: 6539108
Abstract: The present invention provides an image processing device that avoids occurrence of unintended color conversion during the logical operation processing, and produces high-resolution images. In the image processing device of the present invention, after an input color conversion unit converts the RGB color space into the CMYK color space, a first color conversion unit executes color conversion of an area subjected to the logical operation processing into the CMY color space, and a logical operation unit executes the logical operation processing. Thereafter, a second color conversion unit executes color conversion of a logical operation result into the CMYK color space. On the other hand, a pixel value comparison unit compares the color values of the CMY color space before and after the logical operation by the logical operation unit; and if coincident, an output image selection unit selects the color values converted by the input color conversion unit as they are.

  • Patent number: 6456298
Abstract: To provide an image processing apparatus and method that enable high speed and high quality image drawing process. When a drawing instruction including drawing logical arithmetic process instruction is input to a drawing instruction converting unit, the drawing instruction converting mans converts the input drawing instruction to a drawing object and a drawing logical arithmetic process instruction and then stores these to a drawing object storing unit. A drawing logical arithmetic process instruction determining unit determines whether the drawing logical arithmetic process instruction has content to be drawn without logical arithmetic process or not.
