  • Publication number: 20240132519
Abstract: Compounds represented by formula (I), compounds of the less-polar group of two groups of diastereomers in which the carbon atom indicated by * in formula (II) is an asymmetric carbon atom, salts of the compounds, and solvates of the compounds or salts. The compounds have Nrf2 activating action.

  • Patent number: 4613218
Abstract: An apparatus for adjusting a direction of an illuminating light beam in an ophthalmoscope which contains a photographing device includes a click stop mechanism which click stops rotation of a mirror used to reflect the illuminating light beam so that the light beam is accurately reflected onto a photographic film in the photographing device. A knob is integrally connected to a rotary shaft which is rotatably coupled to a mirror frame so that rotation of the knob rotates the mirror frame, and an interlocking member is fixedly disposed on the rotary shaft and contains a click ball mechanism which selectively engages a hole in an outer frame so that rotation of the rotary shaft is click stopped at a predetermined position.

  • Patent number: 4496243
Abstract: A contact lens holder for use in a lens meter comprises an upper cover and a casing which are hinged together and which have first and second axially aligned openings, respectively, for passage therethrough a beam of light from the lens meter. The casing has an annular wall defining the second opening and an annular projection surrounding the annular wall in spaced relation. A contact lens is placed on the annular wall with a concave side of the lens facing the second opening and a peripheral edge of the lens held against an inner peripheral surface of the annular projection. Thus, the contact lens is prevented from being wobbled laterally of the annular projection. The upper cover has a plurality of angularly spaced resilient tongues attached thereto as cantilevers and extending radially inwardly toward the center of the upper cover.

  • Patent number: 4410267
Abstract: A hand-held lens meter including first and second optical systems mounted in a substantially Y-shaped hand-holdable body is disclosed. The first optical system includes a target, a lens rest and an objective lens. The target is slidably mounted in a grip portion of the lens meter body while the two optical systems are mounted in the upper legs thereof. The second optical system includes a relay lens, a focusing screen, an eyepiece lens and first and second reflecting surfaces which may be consituted either by first and second mirrors or a pentagonal prism. A prism is provided preferably as the reflecting surface of the first optical system with the prism having an optical path length longer than the outside diameter of the objective lens. The target is slidably moved along the optical axis in response to rotation of a power-measuring dial which is calibrated in terms of the powers of lenses to be measured.

  • Patent number: 4187020
Abstract: A photographic lens mount has a tripod portion that is rotatable about the optical axis of the lens. A rack and pinion type of focussing mechanism is used and the pinion is fixed with respect to the tripod mounting seat irrespective of the rotational position of the lens support and the camera body. The ring portion of the gear mechanism is formed on a ring that is rotatable with respect to the camera support around the optical axis.
