  • Patent number: 8672410
Abstract: A tiltable headrest device is provided to suppress the occurrence of abnormal noise during rotation, to reduce the number of components and to improve appearance quality. Guide portions (12) each comprising a standing-up locking portion (12a), a falling-down locking portion (12b) and a rail portion (12c) are integrally formed on a core member (1), a coil spring (4) for urging a lateral rod (31) toward a direction approaching the guide portions (12) is provided in the core member (1). The lateral rod (31) is pressed to the guide portions (12) by the urging force of the coil spring (4) so as to be guided. Due to sliding contact between resin and metal, the occurrence of abnormal noise can be prevented.

  • Patent number: 8480177
Abstract: An arm-rest device is constituted by including the following: an armrest body to be installed to a seat rotatably upward/downward; a ratchet mechanism including stationary-side first ratchet teeth, and movable-side second ratchet teeth rotating integrally with the armrest body; coiled springs for urging those in such a direction that they press one another; releasing cam units for releasing the ratchet mechanism from the meshing; elastic claws and a flanged portion for retaining that release; cut-offs for returning the ratchet mechanism to the meshing. And, the armrest body is made of resin, thereby integrally molding the second ratchet teeth at the time of its molding. It thus becomes an armrest device that is lightweight as a whole, whose assembly can also be done with less man-hour requirements, whose feeling of use is also satisfactory, and which is inexpensive and small in size.

  • Patent number: 5448537
Abstract: A magnet-optical disk drive device comprises a disc driving mechanism which includes a drive shaft powered by an electric motor. A magnet-optical disc is detachably connected to the drive shaft. A magnetic field modulation head is positioned at one side of the disc, and an optical unit is positioned at the other side of the disc. A moving mechanism is employed for moving both the magnetic field modulation head and the optical unit in a radial direction of the disc. The magnetic field modulation head is of a floating type wherein a head proper is forced to float above the surface of the disc due to the force of an air flow which is produced when the disc is rotated.

  • Patent number: 4580625
Abstract: Each of heat exchanging units which constitute a heat exchanger is composed of a first plate and a second plate respectively provided with a through hole, an inlet hole and a communication hole and formed with crowns adapted to form a space through which a second fluid flows, a collar and a ring, both surfaces of which are placed in contact with inner surfaces of both first and second plates, are interposed between the first and second plates to form a space through which a first fluid flows. The collar is disposed being axially aligned with a flange portion of the through bolt extending through the heat exchanging units whereby the load resistance of the heat exchanging units can be increased. Moreover, with this arrangement, the heat exchanging units may be easily stacked.

  • Patent number: 4531853
Abstract: A writing instrument has a metal writing point formed by a bundle of fine metal wires, which at one end portion of the bundle are laterally compressed and held adjacent to each other with capillary passages between them. A substantially hemispherical tip is formed at the end surface of the end portion and a substantial part of the remainder of the bundle has a longitudinally extending hollow space at the center thereof. A long permeable ink feeding core is inserted into a hollow space for feeding ink to the passages in the tip and the bundle is encased in a cylinder which may be incorporated in a pen having an ink cartridge from which ink is supplied to the core. The compressed wires are durable and can be provided with a smooth hemispherical surface which moves smoothly over the paper. The passages and the core ensure a steady supply of ink. The writing point also enables sufficient pressure to be applied when writing for making copies with carbon or copy paper.
